Great Product and Compatibility
I drive a Honda City — an amazing car overall — but there’s one small design flaw that’s always bugged me: there’s literally no proper place to keep your phone. And to make it trickier, there’s hardly any good spot to mount a phone holder, except for the windshield or the AC vents. Windshield mounts end up blocking a part of your view — which can get pretty annoying (and sometimes scary) when you suddenly spot an e-rickshaw or two-wheeler out of nowhere. On the other hand, most AC vent mounts available online are either flimsy, have no proper padding, or restrict the vent movement entirely. Hit one pothole, and you’re likely to break either the vent or the holder. I’ve been using this particular mount for over a month now, and I’m genuinely impressed. After driving about 2,200 km across state highways and city roads that seem designed to last two business days (or 30 minutes of rain), my phone never once fell. The grip is excellent. If I had to nitpick, I’d say the ball joint that determines the phone’s orientation could be slightly improved — but that’s really minor. I’d love to share that feedback directly with the design team. I’d have attached a picture with this review, but my car’s currently at the service center — and let’s be honest, I’ll probably forget by the time I get it back. As an Amazon seller myself, I believe in writing honest reviews — not just to help other buyers make informed decisions, but also to appreciate and motivate brands that are genuinely doing good work.

Go for it
Product feels premium and strong and good magnetic strength with magsafe case ( Iam using Samsung z flip 7) Havent tried charging the phone for long, so no comments on that.

Amazing product, its going to hold your heavy phone
Review after 6 months now. Pros: 1. Its plastic but firm and well built 2. It will hold your iphone 14 pro max (heavy) if you use it with a genuine magsafe case. You cannot expect same grip with cheap magsafe cases. It holds in road bumps and normal gutters. It takes a pretty heavy shake to displace it from the magsafe hold. But you would be worried about the car more than phone at this point. Here i rarely encounter gutter, put road bumps are plenty and some very rough as well. Never had a problem there. The only time it slipped off is when I accidentally hit it with my hand. So you need not worry about the magsafe grip if you use genuine case. 3. Wireless charging speed is normal (not fast charge) but this is acceptable as it will not heat up your device more. Turning ac will help to cool it down. Also if you need fast charge you can connect phone directly to your usb fast charger while it is mounted on it. Wireless charge disables automatically when you do this. 4. When you mount your phone, just slide your phone against the device and you’ll see magnet pulls it to the correct position. Yes magnet is strong. 5. I connect the cable only when i need to charge. 90% of the time i use it just as a mount as I dont want to ruin battery. Just unplug the usb. Cons: 1. The three point support leg doesnt work as advertised. It will slip to lower level if your phone is heavy, but this doesn’t bother me as you need to adjust the level at once, get your angle right, and leave it there. Few other points to notice: You’ll see the whole unit moves as one when it shakes on rough roads. First i was concerned but later realised this is actually a good thing, as it absorbs most of the shock and keep phone tight on magsafe hold. (If the mount was very sturdy then it might end up displacing the magsafe hold) So thats not a worry any more. Now after 6 months of use i love the product and trust it completely to hold my phone. Use of phone for maps has become quite easier. I say go for it only if you have a good magsafe case.

A reliable and must have product
I already have Apple Airplay supported in my car. Still the convenience of using maps etc on your phone directly is much more convenient. I have spent a lot on car mounts from brands such as Spigen etc but they never felt like a snug fit. This product serves two purposes. One, as a solid car mount so that I can use my phone directly in my car. And second, as a wireless charger while the phone just sits there. I have clubbed this charger with an 18w adapter for fast charging. Being MagSafe compatible, the charger works perfectly with my iPhone 12 Pro. At the beginning I felt the product was pricy given that you would need to buy an 18w adapter as well but every other product that does the same functions would cost you more. Also, if you register as a VIP member once you receive your product, you get a 24 months worth of warranty which makes the deal even more VFM. I am happy with the product and will keep posting its long term review with eventual usage.

Magnet not as strong as advertised. Fit with phone is not secure enough for roads in our country
Installation is fairly straightforward and easy. However the magnet on the mount is not at strong as advertised. To test the magnet strength I attached my iPhone 17 to the mount and with just a little shaking, the phone detaches from the mount. I am highly skeptical how securely it would be able to hold the phone while driving on the pothole and speed bump filled roads in our country. I would ideally like to return the product as it doesn’t seem to fulfill its promise of high magnetic strength, but seems like there is no option to return it and a replacement is the only option available.

My overall review of the holder.
The magnet was my main concern and let me tell you, it wont disappoint. I drew my car on bad roads and at decent speed, the whole car was shaking left to right but the phone remained on the holder. Build quality is decent so far and i don't think it will break easily. I didnt use the wireless charger much but as little as i did it works and it’s as fast as it should be. It heats up and that is to be expected from wireless charging so i think its gonna be better to use it with the ac on to preserve the phones battery life.

Charging works but wont hold your iPhone if its in a MagSafe compatible case
Bought this product assuming that it would work with a MagSafe compatible case. The description read: === No attachments needed thanks to a powerful built-in HaloLock magnetic ring that locks on to your phone magnetically. An official MagSafe case or ESR HaloLock case is recommended for rough terrain. === I use a Spigen Liquid Crystal Case for my iPhone 12. Spigen claims the case is MagSafe compatible. As per the description, I assumed an official MagSafe case would mean any MagSafe compatible case. That definitely doesn't seem to be the case. The magnets aren't powerful enough to hold the iPhone12 with Spigen case. Even a slight tumble causes the iPhone to fall off. By `official MagSafe case`, ESR probably meant only Apple/ESR cases. So to be fair for ESR, I may buy ESR HaloLock case and update the review. But beware that this would not hold your iPhone if you use a MagSafe compatible case. As my iPhone kept falling off, I could not check the sturdiness of the attachment to the AC vent. Without the iPhone, it seemed strong enough. Also, the wireless charging works. In fact, I have been using it on my desk for the same. Though I do use fast charge to improve the longevity of the phone battery. Edit 1: I bought https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08R3GY5NH and this mount holds the phone amazingly well. I have used this more than 3 months now and the phone never fell off. The case itself is not good as Spigen case, but dont have a choice if I need to use this car mount. Also the mount itself does not attach to the AC vent firm enough. So I would keep one star off for this lack of sturdiness. Bumps in the road causes the mount to shift and on rough roads, I had to go frequent corrections.
