Taylor Precision Products Classic Series Large Dial Thermometer (Oven) - Set of 2

We were having oven inconsistencies for a long time. The oven temperature sensor almost ruined Thanksgiving this year with an almost undercooked turkey my oven was so off; if it wasn't for my probe thermometer, it would've been rare turkey (ish). So, I bought this to help me know the real temperature. These are very accurate (once they have heated for about 15-20 minutes). After using them for about a week an recording the differences, I called a service tech out (oven barely under warranty still). While getting the oven recalibrated, he used his high-accuracy, high precision Fluke and this thermometer matched his readings (once they adjuested for temperature changes). If your oven isn't cooking things right, buy one of these and use the thermometer to help yourself out.

So much easier to read than the ones I could find in stores. If you use your stove at all, you'll be surprised at much better your results will be when you get temperature perfect. Especially if you have a gas stove like I do.

Seems to be accurate and relatively easy to read. The hanging notch is too small for our stove racks so it is a bit of a pain keeping it upright. It does confirm my suspicions that our "new" Frigidaire stove with all its digital readout does not maintain, or reach the temp set. Better at higher temps, poor at lower. Now we can do better low/slow temp cooking by using this thermometer.

Item is not in use as yet. Needed for mechanical class.

Bought the 2 pack as we have and up+down pair of ovens. These were within 2-3 degree of each other, and what the oven was set for...easy to see, you can put them in several different locations. Most excellent...will probably buy another for the in-law suite!

I like this thermometer for the larger numbers and ease of use. I purchased 2 of these to use in my grills and smokers. I would buy this again.

Home ovens are not known for being accurate. Keeping this in the oven insures I can be sure that I'm baking at the temerature I want.
