I became paralyzed from the waist down a few years ago. Spinal cord stroke. Toileting is always an issue especially when I go out. When I was going through chemo I decided to use an indwelling catheter and I decided to keep it because of how easy it is to go out and do things (I used to self cath). Anyone that uses a leg bag knows that odor becomes a problem quickly. It great for convenience to travel but there's an odor and you can also see it through tighter pants. I love these valves! It's helping my bladder muscle get ready so that I can be catheter free soon and there is no odor. I've also found that I have to push the urine out like you would normally. Glad I found these before bathing suit season!

We did not have issues with leakage.

I use this product instead of the leg bag during the day and open the valve to urinate as needed. My Urologist says it is fine to do this but make sure that your bladder does not get too full. Much nicer than wearing that bag on my leg.

Worked as expected

I like the ease of use but just recently got a batch of them that leaked which is scary because that can easily lead to infection (U.T.I.) which I am currently experiencing. I wanted to return them but the return window is closed and the system will not allow me to return or even let them know of this problem. That is a problem within itself. So I am writing this review as it appears to be my only avenue to let this company know they have a manufacturing defect problem.
