A bit chaotic, but appreciative of the leading ladies
This was about a 3.5 for me because while I personally didn't want to worship this installment, it made me appreciate how different all of the leading ladies in the series are. I thought the second half of the book was a little chaotic and lacked the smooth transition I enjoy, but it kept me entertained. One thing I noticed is that the more I read these kind of books, the more I come to expect difficult characters who all have their own thoughts and opinions. It's a weird feeling to read a person's perspective and see beloved characters through their eyes. You probably won't like it when they insult them, but it gives everyone a new level of depth that kind of just surprises you at the end.The timing was a bit off, some things lagged while other scenes were rushed. I did like where Reine was going with this, and I'm curious to see what the fourth installment will bring. I can't whole-heartedly recommend this with the same enthusiasm I do the others, but I will say that Jaycee left an amazing first impression. I internally fought with her, I felt let down when she chose the things she did, I had a strange, sadistic sense of satisfaction when she dealt with the consequences of her stubborn decisions... the whole thing in general was weird, but the ending alone was cool. I feel like I'm doing someone a disservice by not recommending this, so I will say that you will like this if you enjoy reading about career women who are aggressive and don't do nonsense.

Winter Court - Tarot Witches - Book 3
What wonderful story and a major improvement over book 2 (Forbidden Witches) of the series. Jaycee Frost is a strong, determined, structured and professional lady! She has her rules, her opinions, her standards and she follows them to a "T". She is an executive secretary to a Pierce Hardwick and she unknowingly is also a witch. The strange tarot card arrived for her and she had no clue why. Trying to throw it away proved disappointingly impossible. This story once more involves witches, humans and werewolves and motorcycle gangs. Characters from the previous two books showed up, including Rage, Cooper, Donne, Ofelia, Leah, Graham and Mad Dog. The story moves smoothly with Pierce and Jaycee trying to create a cure for Lycanthropy. Tarot Witches magic, a visit from from a sidhe Winter Queen, a werewolf gang and the entwining of three witches during a spell casting created all sorts of havoc, sexual situations, disappointment and in the end true love. Overall it was a great addition to the Tarot Witches series. Thank you SM Reine !Kathy Barber Doyle- 3/27/2018

The Winter Court ... sort of?
These books seem to read faster than the other books/series that Reine writes, but I will happily devour them all anyway. They’re more about romance and sexy times rather than the gut-wrenching, emotion scrambling of some of her other books/seriesI don’t have much to talk about concerning this book, but will say that I reallllly didn’t like Jaycee. Creating realistic characters is a skill of Reine’s and it shows, at least, for me very well in this book. Her assumptions about Rage, the other tarot witches, and werewolves were very ... snobby? Haughty? B*tchy? I’m curious to see what will happen with the Sidhe and the other tarot witches ... so far each witch has been the total opposite of another, for instance look at Ophelia, then Leah, then JC ... the only thing they have in common is that they are female and witches.Err, I would've liked to read/learned more about The Winter Court btw.

I still love her work, even if this one was not for me. There will be plenty of people who will love this book like it should!
Well, talk about hot and action. This book has it all. I know many of you who will read this will love it. As I have loved ALL of SM Reine's' books. :) However, this book seemed to be a little more on the erotica side of things, and I was not quite into it. Don't get me wrong. The story line was very interesting and could be followed well. I loved seeing all the new and old characters in the book. It is just the erotica parts that kinda threw me off. lol I am just not use to reading so much from my Favorite author. And just because this is the only book that has not gotten five stars from me, does not mean it is not a good book. Like I said before, It is a good book and I am sure there are tons of people who will love the hell out of it. ;) I am curious to see what she brings out in book four of this series. All in all, it was a good book, just not one of "my" favorite ones. ;) I still can't wait for her next ones!

The witches werewolf
What a wonderful world the author has created with this being the third in the series. Witches and werewolves but not just any witch as only the Tarot Witches can mate with the werewolves. This witch though won't admit what she is or the love she feels for her boss. I would highly recommend this book.

A turning point for the series
I enjoyed the first two books in this series but this one was fantastic. This book really shows you where the series is going. Like the first two books this book has a definite ending but it also brings to focus some plot lines that run through the series. So while it would be possible to read this book as a stand alone, I highly recommend reading the others first. The book is full of romance and action and characters from the previous books are part of the new story about main characters Pierce and Jaycee, but be warned this is an erotic story.

Better and better
***spoiler alert*** When we were first introduced to Pierce and Jaycee Hardwick, I thought how evil, they do not deserve to be happy! After reading Winter Court, I actually found myself routing for their happiness. I enjoyed reading their backstory. A happy ending that is really just the beginning. I love when past characters make an appearance. I never thought I'd find a lesbian threesome to be so hot, but dayum!! Sex that conjures powerful magic??!!! What a great imagination SM Reine has, she uses fact & fiction to tell fantastic stories! A must read!!
