I Hesitated To Buy These Because of the Negative Assembly Reviews, But They Are Unfounded
I had been searching for a low cost single leg squat roller for a while now. There were a few contenders in the <$100 range. One of those was this SimplyImagine version, which seemed very similarly designed to the Titan Fitness version, but for less money. Part of the reason I hesitated to buy this SI version is because of all the reviews saying the frame holes were drilled wrong and the unit couldn't be assembled. Then I saw a couple of reviews which attributed this to user, rather than manufacturing error. That pushed me over the edge, and I decided to take a chance, and purchased thus unit.It was easy to see why so many people had assembly issues; they didn't read the directions (I'm admittedly often guilty of this myself,) and assumed the uprights could go on either way. That is not the case. On one side of the upright pieces, there is an indentation on the top of the rail, while the other side is flat to the edge. All you have to do is make sure that the indented side is facing in, as that is where the small, diagonal support bracket rests. If you do that, you're home free. Assembly was really a breeze.Far as quality of the unit, I'd describe it as excellent. It isn't in the least but clunky or cheap feeling. Unlike something like say a squat rack, a squat roller is very limited in the weight it needs to be able support. I will say without hesitation, that this unit is manufactured for tolerances that feel well beyond the minimal requirements. I've purchased equipment in years past that has felt very unstable and clunky. I'm happy to say that wasn't the case with this unit. It feels very solid and doesn't rock from side to side as you move. It provides the stability I need for split-legged squats, decline pushups, or whatever else I decide to use it for. I'm super pleased with the feel of it.Next difference between the models that I noticed was the padding type. Some are just foam, with no cover, and this one has a leather-ish sort of cover surrounding the foam. I immediately knew I wanted the covered version, as uncovered foam is much harder to keep sanitary. It absorbs sweat and can't just be wiped clean with a rag. Again, the cover on this model feels sufficiently thick, smooth, and of good quality. It will also be a breeze to maintain and keep clean.All-in-all, I'm very pleased with the quality of this unit. I have one more area to compliment: great customer service (which can be a rarity these days. When my box arrived, it didn't look too healthy, to say the least. there were some holes and tears in the box, and someone had cut open the tape on the one side, leaving the unit exposed. Thankfully, when I inventoried the box, I was only missing a bolt and a couple of washers. I sent an e-mail to the manufacturer/seller (e-mail is listed right on the assembly instruction,) and he responded back within a surprisingly short time and very cheerfully said he'd send me the replacement parts right away, and that if I have any issues with installation, I could contact him and he would gladly assist. It's not every day that you see this kind of customer support, and I wanted to make sure to let people know that if you are missing a bolt or a washer, or you somehow find assembling the unit to be difficult, the manufacturer of this product will be there for you.I don't typically leave many reviews, unless a product experience either makes me needlessly angry and frustrated by unacceptably low quality or bad customer service, or the other less common extreme, of a high quality product that is backed by above-and-beyond customer service. This was definitely in the latter extreme, and I wanted to give credit where it is most definitely due. I can't thanks the company enough for: 1) being so quick and eager to replace my missing hardware and 2) show sincere concern for making sure my unit gets safely assembled in a timely manner. Definitely a well earned two thumbs up!

Sturdy piece of equipment
My only complaint was about the assembly. There are two different length bolts, that aren't very well detailed where they are to be used. The instructions list all the parts, but not where certain bolts go.Aside from that, the stand itself is extremely sturdy, yet light to maneuver. The pad adjustment can't be a bit tough to adjust.Definitely a good buy for the money.

Good value but could be better
High quality, but be ware if you're a power athlete. It will rock if are doing heavy fast athletic style split squats. I have to place it against a wall and wedge a book on each side to prevent the tilt.Note, this would be better if everything was the same except their was an offset on the two arms. Literary just two holes on each side in a different position would do. I might drill them myself if I can find the time.I do love the adjustable height, very nice feature. Would buy again, just hope they update it for power athletes.

Difficult to assemble, but great once you figure it out
My grip strength was personally victimized by the torque needed to tighten these nuts. I incorrectly assumed you could assemble this with the little thin wrenches included with the nuts and bolts. Wrong! I had to get a ratcheting wrench and a clamp to hold the other end stationary to put it together.Once I figured out how to get the screws in, it was smooth sailing. It's very sturdy and doesn't take up a ton of space. I wish it took less screwing and unscrewing to move the bar up and down, but for the price, this is very well done.

Solid and well made piece of equipment!
This product was an VERY easy assembly. It is solid and sturdy. We even use it with 2 of us doing a Bulgarian lunge at the same time. I am extremely pleased with this purchase. I highly recommend this for any home gym.

Came missing hardware, buyer beware.
Seems pretty solid with good build quality. My only knock against it was that it came missing a nut and washer, which is very annoying. Had to knock off some points for that. In 2023 it should be a no brainer to package extra hardware with things like this.

Fantastic product. Easy to assemble. Fits in an apartment gym, light weight and is extremely versatile for split squats. 10/10 would recommend.
