Adorable
Tricky to build, pieces are fragile, be gentle.

Cool, not easy to build
Comes in thin wooden pieces and instructions to push them together. Some are small and very fragile. Even with my small articulated hands I did break a piece. Used glue to fix it. When it’s done it’s pretty cool! The instructions did not tell you to keep a little U shaped piece and use it as a “lock” for the jail. I accidentally threw that piece out and had to make my own lock.

Know it is unassembled
Soooo, if your a handy person buy it! If your not like me know it comes unassembled. i couldnt get the pieces together they dont fit well. I wasted 45 minutes of my life trying to put these balsa wood pieces together only for them to break multiple times. It is now in my trash can.HOWEVER, the seller was very easy to work worth and sent me an already assembled jail and it happily sits on my dresser waiting for the next set of bad dice!

Cheap, flimsy, and difficult to put together. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!
The headline says it all. I managed to put it together without breaking the pieces. The finished piece is small, about 2 1/2 inches high and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The pieces are thin balsa wood that seems like it will break apart in a strong wind. It definitely will not survive a rowdy night of D&D.For $16 I expected something a far better. Real wood and metal bars, for instance. Not layers of "wood" hardly stronger than paper. This was going to be a birthday gift for my son. I would be embarrassed to give this to him as a present. It's not worth $2, let alone $16. Good thing I bought early. I will have to look elsewhere for a good dice jail for his birthday.VERY DISAPPOINTED! CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP!

It's okay
It was fun to put together at first but it ended up being harder then it looks. Pieces were breaking left and right and I was very upset about that because my husband got it for me for Christmas. Eventually we got it all together with the help of super glue. It's not very big and I wouldn't put more then 3 dice in it at a time.

Some assembly required
I imagined that the assembly would be quicker and easier. Cage comes in a flat sheet that requires carefully punching out. Having fingers that are too fat for this detailed removal, I used an X-acto blade and stiff wire rod to remove the parts. I recommend taking a picture of the sheet which identifies all the parts in place then, placing each part on a sheet of paper with its number to avoid confusion by using a similar looking piece in the wrong spot. Like most projects I jumped right in and didn't bother with instructions (this was not the best approach). Follow the instructions. Take your time and don't risk breaking a piece by forcing it. A set of small files is handy for making smooth fits and joints. What is "sheerness"? - I'm going with a 3 for sheernessGiftable: If you like the recipient, assemble the dice cage and then gift it.

It's cute but hopefully you get luckier than I did
All of the pegs were way too big so they wouldn't fit into the holes and if they did they didn't go all the way through and then would get stuck. One of the pegs broke way too easily and now the jail cell door doesn't work correctly. Going to have to use tooth picks and glue to finish it I guess lol. It's supposed to be a gift and I'm now going to have to jimmy rig it so that it will actually work. It's cute though at least which is why I gave it two stars instead of one.

Tricky, but looks great
It was a little tricky to put together, especially trying to keep all the cell bars straight while putting on the roof piece, but after all said and done, looks great. Will be a nice, functional table dressing for "fumblers"I would advise maybe some glue for the base and top pieces if you intend to move it around a lot, as it seems like one might pop off if it bumps something the wrong way, otherwise it's pretty sturdyI am happy with the purchase

It does not come pre-assembled
So I'm a new player and my friends thought I should get a 'dice jail' since in our last session I kept rolling really poorly with my D20. So I got this thinking it was rather fitting but expecting it to come assembled. I was very wrong. The pieces are very fragile and I ended up breaking 2 of them trying to make them all fit together. I do appreciate that the instructions were easy to follow but yeah, would've been happier if it was pre-assembled and sturdier

Broke almost immediately
Very disappointing, broke during the first step as pieces are cut to the right shape/sizes causing pieces to snap if applying slightly too much pressure.
