Best honest information for green horns.
I absolutely love Angela and her no bull crap, straight to the point, honest and informative advice. Not only is she actually giving away her own customers but she’s teaching old and new house cleaners not to cut each other’s throats, not to steal clients, and to view fellow house cleaners as colleagues and a community rather then competition. Sure a little competition is good for the soul but to do it professionally and light hearted takes a special kind of breed. I have been wanting to open my own cleaning business and focus on more of helping those in need rather then cleaning for my pockets. We live in a small town and don’t have many neighborhoods but the ones we do have are your typical elderly that refuses help from family and friends but will take the help of a stranger, disabled people who like the elderly don’t like asking for help, and lower income families that are working 2-3 jobs just to keep food on the table, and then you have those family’s who are a caregiver for a family member on in home hospice. I’m not after a get rich quick scheme, I’m after helping my little rinky dink town because everyone deserves a clean house no matter what the situation is.

Helpful information for cleaning business start-up
Angela outlines the best process to start your cleaning business. Her book is easy to read, informative. However, she leaves alot of information out as she wants you to buy the other training classes. There are several of them & they are $200 each! I tallied it up & if I took all her training classes, I would be spending over 3k. Considering this book gives the reader an overview, I will be researching any additionally needed business guidance elsewhere.

Great advice
I like that this book is easy and quick to read, but still full of knowledgeable and thoughtful information.I'm weary about using worksheets (I have no clue why to be absolutely honest.) Angela seems to live by them! Certainly worth a try though, especially since I don't have a clear system in place for myself in regards to invoices and receipts.I'd recommend this book to anyone interested in making some money being their own boss.Thank you for making this free to read, Angela. I really appreciate the advice and guidance!

A must have!
This is the second book I’ve read on how to start a cleaning company recently and there is by far no comparison that this book is better! I did some research while I was waiting for this one to arrive and had a lot more questions after. Once the book arrived and I started reading it everything became clearer and all my questions were answered! Angela also recommends a Facebook group page for like minded individuals in the book and it is by far the best group I have joined. So many helpful people on there and it’s a great group to be a part of that’s full of tips. Angels has a step by step proven guide in the book that sounds simple and efficient. Very easy read!!

Don't depend on this book alone! Good overview
I recommend this book for someone who is thinking about starting a cleaning business. If you are already a cleaner/ owner of a cleaning business, chances you are doing as much or more than the book provides with everything from payments, flyers, website, social media, uniforms, marketing, and overall products. The author Angela Brown doesn't talk about a lot of the ideas, especially when talking about marketing, yelp, Facebook, webpages, ads, etc... I think this book was clever for advertising! She leaves a lot out because she wants you to take up her classes and program. I liked her 63 questions, but they are pretty generic, and you can save yourself money by looking them up on her YouTube channel or using google. IF ANYONE needs help learning how to clean use YouTube and hands on, also go join a house cleaning Facebook group preferably a business owner type!... They help out a lot from payments, shared experiences, cleaning etc. Also use YouTube to help design your website, yelp, etc.... They help... Logos from Canva or what you decide on editing. Although, the book has offered some cleaning checklist and flyer templates you can find better ones that fit your business online. The checklist however was every good to transfer to word doc and being easy to edit. I think it is extremely important to have a checklist in order for your clients to know what you have done in their house; it also provides a list for yourself to check off. Angela Brown speaks about her referral system being on word of mouth and sharing her cleaning checklist doubled as an invoice. I think that was a great point but left out that it should provide a QR code because we live in a world of sharing via text, people don't want to have a bunch of papers laying around! more to clean-up! Also saves you to cost of printing out flyers when people share your QR code that way your contact is immediately synced.-Thank you for reading!
