50 is actually 25 connections. Two pieces per pole, 8 per shelf.
They are strong and work great for my Uline 1" bars. There is a small gap between the two pieces which is fine. I weigh 190 and can put mu full weight on it. If you have a 4 bar set up you will need 8 per shelf, 2 per pole. I had miscalculated so I just ordered another set. Good for 6 shelves per 50.
