We ordered this for our 6 month old grandson. After removing from box it takes a few minutes (several) to fully self inflate. Attaching the sun shield was easy. He loved bouncing /floating in the the pool. We felt he was completely safe in it.

Me and my baby love this, it’s comfortable for him with good support and a simple design perfect for the pool.

We love the self inflating part. It also has a strong adjustable strap that goes under your baby, which is great. Others just have a mesh seat, but the stronger strap is reassuring.

Did not inflate properly. It says inflates in 60 seconds, it did not and inflated very bumpy. Bummer. Other than that it is cute.Updated review : I let the float sit over night to inflate properly. It looks good now. 4 stars though because we were not able to swim right away safely.

This is great for our infant! I like it better than others because he cannot put his face into the water, but he can reach to splash. The removable sun cover is great, and I love the fact that is inflates itself!

I picked the $50 float for my grandson to keep him safe from the sun. It says self-inflating- that is not true. I had to send it back twice. The cover splits open to reveal the inter tube. The sun protection curls up until it is useless. Did not last a week. Waist of money unfortunately

Instructions states that first time inflation would take longer. I did as the instructions stated and waited 2 and a half hours. It didn't inflate. I took the float outside and thought because of there being a bit more wind outside it would speed up the inflation. After a hour and a half it still didn't inflate.I ended up using a pump to blow it up. Using your mouth works just as well. I'm gonna deflate it and see if it will inflate in 60 seconds as stated in the instructions then I'll let everyone know.Otherwise I believe it is sturdy, love how it looks since blown up. The canopy was easy to put together and place onto the float. I haven't had the chance yet to put into the pool, so I am unsure of its buoyancy. Will definitely update later on in this month.For the price though... So far I don't believe it is worth it... Especially if it's suppose to self-inflate and then it didn't.-UPDATE- second time using it! It did not inflate in 60 seconds as stated in the instructions. It didn't inflate at all. I had to inflate myself. I put it in my bathtub and placed my 5.5 month old in it and it floated. He seem to like it alot. I was able to adjust the strap with no issues. It might just be me but not a fan of the strap excess.

Loved that I could adjust the strap to hold my lil one up in the seat better
