not needed for plastic. there are better products out there to use on plastic parts

Remove the red cap from the lid and place it on the bottom of the can to puncture the mixing agent. You can Google it.

Q: Sooo... I forgot to activate it and used this product during a repair. How successful will it be at doing its job?

The activator is the hardner. Without this I would be afraid to paint over. Soft primer will lift. Remove the primer and respray with activated primer can.
