You get my drift.To be fair to the seller it does say: - **NOTE** Read Full Description and Then Buy The Product.I read many descriptions then returned to this item and bought them because they were “Amazons choice”.WELL, THEY ARE NOT MY CHOICE.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE DUMBBELLS.Because the weights are half the weight they should be.THEY ARE NOT GOOD VALUE.Argos is much cheaper and better quality than these Gallant Sport dumbbells.I did contact Gallant to see if they could help but got a curt reply from Peter quoting “read the description then buy”. Clearly they have been through this many times before.Gallant sports dispatch the item really quickly and get them to you in very good time but the cost of returning them is not economical because of the weight.Gallant sports dumbbells are rough and ready and £ for kg EXPENSIVE.Gallant Sports: 3kg dumbbells = 2 x 1.5kg dumbbells = £10.99 (£3.66 per kg)Argos: 3kg dumbbells = 2 x 3kg dumbbells = £11.99 (£2.00 per kg)These will have to be given away and I’ll buy some better quality, better value ones of the correct weight from elsewhere.Not from Gallant. Once bitten twice shy!Be warned. Do not get caught out.

I did not expect this qulity after reading all the postive review here. Is this really what you are selling to all thoese people?

Caution the dumbbells are half the weight you select. So if you order a pair of 3kg dumbbells you get 2x1.5kg. I have just noticed a lot of people have complained and now it is written in the description unfortunately it was after I bought these. If you check any of the other sellers you will notice the weight you select is the weight of each dumbbell. If you need to return any items it is at your own expense so it would cost around the same to return the item as you paid for it.

I thought this was a full set like the picture and the price would imply that but I only got two 1K weights.This was a disappointing Birthday present and very upset with myself for not checking the reviews ore fine print.Don’t Display a picture of a full set if that is not what you are selling.

After fracturing my arm a couple of months ago my physiotherapist gave me some exercises involving 1kg weights to improve flexibility in my arm and strengthen my arm and shoulder.I chose these and delighted with my choice. They are comfortable to hold and swing around and, due to the hexagonal ends, do not roll away when I put them down. Also excellent service and speedy delivery from the seller.

What a great purchase. A good weight for someone who only wants to titillate my arm muscles to make sure as a "getting on a bit" woman I can still open jars etc etc These have a decent weight to them without me turning into a gym bunny!

Neoprene is poor quality. Both dumbells have rips in them.Not truly hexagonal so will roll around.The weight stated is the total weight of BOTH not the weight of each.

Just what I need .Nice comfy grip and easy to useLove these weightsDelivered really quick and packaged well.Very happy.Will soon have muscles bigger than my husbands !!Two weights each 2.5kg (total 5kg)
