Great read
I bought this for my son and he has thoroughly enjoyed it. He would definitely recommend it, especially to Rugby fans.

updated version of previous biography
Very interesting story of BO'D but a bit disappointing that it is a reprint of previous version, just updated to cover his wedding, birth of his daughter and finally being a member of a winning British Lions Side although not a member of the actual winning team!

A very enjoyable read
This is an update of a previous biography of O'Driscoll by the same author, but it is considerably longer. The additional chapters tell the story of the latter years of his career, as well as providing an insight into his personal life and business career. It's really one for the rugby purists and casual fans might find there are too many match reports for their tastes, but as someone who has developed a love of Irish rugby since moving to the country 12 years ago, this is an enjoyable account of Ireland's greatest. The book also provides an interesting narrative of how rugby culture changed from the early days of professionalism in the 1990s to the much more intense, commercially-orientated environment of the 2010s

More than disappointing
Similar to a previous review I found this just a repetition of matches that Brian O'Driscoll played in with "assumed" interjections of "Brian thought this..." "Brian felt that..."It became obvious very early on that the the author had no co-operation from the man who is a "Legend" in writing this very disappointing book.It is the only sports related books that I gave up on halfway through as I came to another page with the name "Brian" mentioned six times... about what he thought...I only hope other people do not anticipate this was a book written with the co-operation of one of the greatest rugby players of all time.I now look forward to reading his autobiography even more so having given up on this so called "Biography".
