My Pal, Opal: A Children's Guide to Understanding Dog Body Language

So many children think that it's safe to walk up to any dog and just wrap their arms around it and the truth is it many times it's not. This book did a great job of explaining signs of a dog while still focusing on the amazing relationship between a girl and her pup 😍. This book should be in every home if there are little ones!

Bought this book for my 8 year old son and he absolutely adores it! Highly recommend plus its full of great tips for children around animals, as well as understanding their own emotions.

My Pal Opal is AMAZING!! Not only does it teach about dogs body language but also feelings and expression of both dogs and humans. The illustrations are beautiful and the book is very well written. A fantastic story of feelings, friendship and respect!!!

What a great book! So thankful for this to teach our kids about the body language of dogs at early ages! We are so thrilled to be able to share this cute and educational book with out babies.
