Very good quality, easy to assemble, and very sturdy. The assembly instructions were the typical picture-type, and fairly clear. Once we got the pieces out of the box (and they were VERY well packaged) we could see how everything fit together. All we needed was a phillips screwdriver, the allen wrench for the main bolts was included. It went together in about 20 minutes. The water-protecting blue plastic liner fit like it was laser-measured for the box, which was great. It matches our other teak patio furniture and is just the right size for our lumbar pillows and our furniture covers. We'd buy it again.

Well- made, simple to assemble, attractive style.

This is a very nice-looking, sturdy deck box. The included PVC bag does a good job of keeping the contents dry, even in direct rain. The build is simple and quick. On the negative side, the included hardware is of poor quality, so you need to be very careful to not over-torque any of the fittings. The screw heads can snap off, and the bolt heads can strip out very easily. Both have happened to me. Whatever type of metal being used is junk, so beware.

The storage box was assembled with minimal cussing. That is always a plus! It is used to store outdoor furniture covers and as an end table on the covered patio. It looks attractive and fulfills the purpose for which it was intended. I did treat the wood with an oil-based product to prevent drying. Arizona heat does not treat wood kindly.

The storage bin arrived with box intact and was well packed but as the pieces were unpacked, almost every part had a ding, dent or scratch. A part was broken that absolutely had to have been in that condition prior to packing. Several planks are warped. The bin was unpacked and assembled within 24 hours and delivered into the carport so the damage wasn't weather related. The planks didn't match - different conditions, color shades, surface textures. Some planks look old and dry rotten. Very lightweight and cheap feel, if someone sat on it, it would break. Upon assembly, two planks split when screws were manually tightened. Overall, if you saw this piece for sale, it would be at a surplus or defective warehouse. Very poor quality overall. Would definitely been returned if there were a local option and I didn't have to pack and carry it all back.

The box looks great but it took about 3 hours to assemble, required a drill, holes were not all pre-drilled and the instructions were horrible. All 4 lift pieces were broken/frozen and will not decompress making them useless. Pay more for American made if you can.

Looks great but even when the inner storage is zipped up it leaks when it rains. Need to get an external cover.

This is box is not going to last 30 yrs., but it doesn't cost $500. I'm a cabinetmaker and I wouldn't build it like this, but like the shoemakers children I had no time to make one for us. It's not really solid in the sense that you can sit on it, but it holds a lot inside. It went together very easily, maybe 30 min. tops, all the holes aligned. I drilled one hole deeper because the screw was a tight fit and I did want to split the wood. The blue liner fit perfectly and kept the contents dry in torrential rains. I might tweak it to make it last longer, but it's good as is. I DON'T KNOW WHAT ALL YOU FOLKS ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT! Nice storage box and a great value for the price. PS: After torrential rains, when you lift the lid, one hell of a lot of water pours down the back edge of the lid - surprise!
