I purchased this to add a "downspout" to my patio over hang that had nowhere to mount an official downspout (no where to secure it). It sounds nice in lighter rain and turns a nice color after a while. However when it is really pouring rain, it doesn't quite allow enough water to flow through it and it tends to splash everywhere. Just wish it had a bit bigger holes or a hole in the bottom to allow heavy rain to flow through better

These are so beautiful installed, and even more beautiful in the rain. I love them. I got them to replace all of my downspouts. Much better than the less expensive ones that are not copper. I tried those and they only lasted as year or two.

I’ve wanted rain chains for so long, so I finally broke down and bought 2 to start off. Will replace my other downspouts with these rain chains. They are just beautiful, almost sad they won’t stay shiny but I know once they patina they will still be beautiful. For those saying they turned a different color, well they’re supposed to patina, so. Thought it was supposed to come with an anchor, it didn’t but no big deal. It did come with the thing to hang it so that’s a plus.

These added a nice touch to our front porch. We have them in conjunction with a rain barrel to help water flowers. Looks awesome, sounds pretty.
