We just received the Cuisinart DK-17 Cordless Stainless Steel Electric Kettle. It is a wonderful kettle. It is charming and looks great on the countertop. We were concerned about some of the reviews mentioning "leaking upon arrival" and "quitting after 6 months". Our kettle is very well manufactured and seems to be perfect with no leaking and we hope that it never quits. We love the viewing window and the fact that it heats very quickly. I love the blue light of the on/off switch and love that it shuts off when it boils. It is not too heavy to pour into our teapot and the spout works great with absolutely no dripping. It is easy to fill because the handle is high enough as to not get in the way of pouring water into the kettle. The instruction booklet suggests that you keep the original packaging in case you have to send it back in to the company. That concerns us a bit, but time will tell. Perhaps keeping the packaging will ward off any future problems. We do hope so, but as of now, it is simply the best kettle and we are so glad that we purchased it. The Upman

Better than past electric kettles we've had. Heats very quickly. Easy to program a specific temperature - we had to learn which temperatures are best for different teas and coffees. Plus we use it to boil our tap water for nasal rinsing. The water level isn't as easy to see in a glass kettle but this is certainly sturdier.

it is an absolute waste of money. not suitable for indian voltage , the converter recommended by the seller was for a lower voltage & the coil was damaged. Had to throw the kettle. entire money gone down the drain.

Great looking kettle with enough flexibility to keep the most discerning customer happy and a 3 year warranty - what more can you ask for?
