Accuracy? I guess. The gauge is very useful, especially for things like tomato plants which can be over or under watered. Using this meter, we had no end rot, no root rot, etc. Again, very useful.

It obviously works but needs better instructions

I purchased the iPower Soil pH Meter, 3-in-1 Tester Kit for Moisture, Light & pH for Home and Garden. Works great. I haven't had any issues. This was a gift and she couldn't be happier. To be quite honest, it's only primarily used for water testing now but the other features work fine. You can tell whether there's enough light or not without the gage anyway. The PH level is only checked periodically to make sure it's right... but the moisture gage is used quite often and gives you a reading almost immediately for moisture. Dead accurate. Then its put away.The gage is not left in the ground for long unless the soil is being tested for PH. Then the gage is put away. The gage is not left in the ground for prolonged periods of time and is well taken care of. Still works great through a couple seasons.There's a couple of these types of gages on the market. I was weary because I figured cheap price means cheap equipment, but in this case for this company.. if it's well taken care of.. it should last.

If you're like me, you want a probe to test PH. I didn't care about light and moisture but I got it for the PH. I tested many spots, all of them read 8. I got suspicious and cleaned it real good. I got a cup of vinegar and tested that and it still gave me a reading of 8. The needle twitched all way to the right, then came back to 8. (Vinegar is 2.5-3.5).BEWARE. I've now been seeing this same product being sold on other places for much cheaper $10.00 so I think they're trying to dump them. Seems like older models worked or their paying bots for reviews, but most recent reviews say the same thing, PH meter don't work.

I purchased this mainly for the moisture and light meter because I had my doubts about the pH accuracy. I tested it by starting out with a fresh pot of pH neutral soil and watering it with a 3 part solution that had a pH of 6.5 on the money. By all rights this meter should read somewhere between 6 and 7 to be in the same ball park. It wasn't even close and read closer to 8. If you grow in soil and worried about pH, this is not the one I recommend that you rely. Wish I had another that I could suggest but none of the soil tests like this seem very accurate. If you grow in pots do yourself a huge favor and start with a balanced soil and just use pH balancing fertilizer/ water mix and don't worry about it. I give it 5 stars for the light and moisture meters and 0 for the pH meter. I feel that I am being fair with 3 overall. I could have easily given it one if I was really expecting it to be accurate.

pH function (main one for me) is not working. Reading stays at 7 even in vinegar!The display is too small and hard to read. The scale should be restricted to only the useful range (say 4 to 8).I'm returning it as we speak.

I think the product I received might be defective. I tested the light meter outside on a cloudy day and the read level for light said DARK.The meter does not move at all when you switch between pH and light.The moisture meter does move a little, but reads between dry and moist even when in newly watered soil.This does not seem to be a quality product.

Hardly senses anything. Ph, light or moisture. You have to have it up against the lightbulb to get it to sense any light and the needle hardly moves even when placed in a cup of water when measuring moisture content and Ph. I would save your money and just stick with the basic water Ph measuring tool. This one is useless.
