The puzzle itself would be tricky to figure out ... If all the parts to it had some resistance. The solution to this puzzle is incredibly easy to figure out, as all the moving parts will move on their own, far too easily.How easily?I gave this to my nephew, and when shaking it (about as hard as a 5 year old could), it opened in about 2 seconds, ruining any sense of mystery or challenge. Very dissappointed..

did not realize it was so small, probably my mistake for not reading description carefully. also thought this rating not accurate, as I thought 6 was out of 1-10 not 5-10 so expected it to be a bit more of a challenge

Fairly easy to open. Once it's done once, gets even easier as the parts are looser.
