Works better with modern engine s
This additive is better option for new engines which use thinner oils like 0w20-5w30 etc as this additive is also thin. This will not cause any harm to modern engine on startups where engine is cold . It blends Nicely to increase the oils additive properties. Which in turn will make engine runs smoothly.

Its just a gear oil
Hi just got this one, found its consistency of gear oil. 90 grade. Its better to use gear oil as additive in engine oil for better performance rather than marketing gimmicks like this. Waxpol engine additive is 140 grade oil. There is nothing bad to to use Gear oil of 90 grade or 140 grade as additives instead of these engine oil additives.
