A few years ago, I grew my hair long and healthy using this shampoo and conditioner, after veering off and using other shampoo and conditioners, I noticed that my hair growth progression slowed down. I decided to revisit this product after developing Lupus which caused my hair to shed profusely for the last 2 years. 2 weeks after using this product, the heavy shedding was reduced by at least 90%. I will be repurchasing this product and using it on a regular basis. Mentally, not having your hair shed in clumps is a serious confidence booster, I will be repurchasing this product. Of note, I like mixing the Giovanni Nutrafix Hair Reconstructor with this Smooth As Silk Deep Moisture conditioner at least once or twice per month, this deep conditioning method has helped my hair grow to long lengths in the past, and I am confident that my hair will reach those long healthy lengths again.

I like this product because of the light smell, and because I don't break out from it. It works good, helps my scalp, and does a nice job on my hair. Most shampoos cause itching and rashes, the smells and chemicals are too fake and/or strong, and it makes me not be able to use them often. This one is great for me and it is so nice to be able to wash and condition my hair without any issues.

I tried this shampoo and conditioner as a less expensive alternative to Living Proof Perfect Hair Day. I cannot stand it - no matter how much shampoo I use and how much I rub it into my hair, my hair still has product build-up and feels dirty. The conditioner provides no additional moisture - it seems to just sit on top of my hair and then rinse off. I am used to sulfate-free shampoos so I am accustomed to the idea of shampoo not lathering, but this shampoo and conditioner set just simply doesn't do the job of either product. Would not recommend!

This shampoo is not as harsh as a regular clarifying shampoo so you can use it as your regular shampoo.It is protein rich so if your hair doesn't like protein I wouldn't recommend it.The consistency is thicker than other shampoos so a little goes a long way. I'd also recommend rubbing it in your hand with some water before applying it to your scalp.I like how it leaves my scalp sweaky clean after every wash.The only thing I don't like about it is that it can be a little drying. I follow it with a moisturizing leave in which helps a lot.My hair loves protein so this is perfect for me.
