My New Goto Seasoning
Pretty good! Healthier alternative to just layering on salt. This seasoning is nice because it allows the foods flavor to still shine, it enhances it almost.

Non-resealable but good quality
This is a large amount of MSG in a non-resealable bag. I filled a jelly jar and a spice jar and ended up feeling like a monster after throwing away the rest due to lack of space. The MSG itself? Delicious of course. Zhuzh up any savory dish! A little goes a long way. Taste as you season. I’m usually happy with a pinch for a 2 servings meal.

Restaurant quality food at home !
Want more umami ? Buy this.I read reviews on so many different brands this one kept having it pop up that it is the brand restaurants use, and i love us8ng the brands restaurants use. With this all my food is restaurant quality now. Have made a few items where people swear im lying about making it and that I must have ordered it from somewhere. Ha !My favorite dish to put it on is sautéed vegetables cooked in lots of butter. It really helps bring out each individual vegetables flavor. I also love putting it right onto steaks before searing. Now a staple in my kitchen. Also MSG does not cause headaches. I use to think it did because of panda express but i havent gotten a single headache from using this. Worse that has happened was accidentally using too much and feeling very jittery ( like the start of a panic attack heart pounding) scared me but i realized it was because i used eay too much (so use it sparingly)

It is monosodium glutamate and inexpensive. What more do you want?
MSG really does enhance the flavor of a lot of dishes, which is why it has been used so frequently by restaurants. Unfortunately, at some point it got a bad rap in the press. It always seems like if some food item gets popular enough, some dietary guru will tell you it is awful... usually one who is selling a competing product. In the case of MSG, I think some folks had it in for Chinese restaurants in particular, since those were usually linked to MSG use. After avoiding MSG for some years, I looked a little more deeply and found the research not to really bear out the horrible assertions of the people against it. In particular, the European Union countries all allow its use, though they have a recommended daily maximum intake.... which is so high that realistically you won't hit it.And honestly, I trust the EU to ban things that are bad for us faster than the U.S. FDA! So, if they say its safe, I'm onboard.Anti-MSG folks have even lied. I did a bunch of searches while writing this review and found many online sources asserting that the EU banned it for children. Yet, official EU governmental sites say it is SAFE for children! When people start lying about things, I assume they have an ax to grind. It is possible, as with anything else, that some people may be allergic to MSG. If it doesn't agree with you, don't use it. But it doesn't appear to be much pf an allergen compared to many other tasty things like peanuts.Do your own research to make sure for yourself. But for my money, it appears that MSG is at least as safe as most of the stuff we put in our bodies nowadays, maybe safer... and it sure enhances flavors. This particular variety is inexpensive and seems just fine.

Product was good, just the hype of the flavor SALT.
Good taste, salt basically. I personally think it’s hype.I think pink salt is better, but this will give you a more salty flavor.

Tasty, Cheap, Great product.
Pretty sure this company was the original producer of MSG. Good quality, good flavor. My only little 'issue' I personally had with it was my first 2-3 weeks of using it in rice/on eggs, etc was it gave me a near constant mild headache, and 1 time I used too much and had heart palpitations but those all went away and I've had 0 issues with it since. I assume I just had a mild sensitivity to it and got accustomed to it after use for a while.Probably rare and not something man others will run into.

Great way to add flavor to asian dishes.
This is exactly as it should be. easy to use, affordable, with a long shelf life. It is perfect for adding flavor to soups and sauces. Really punches up foods with an almost meat-like savory flavor. This ingredient is the secret to a lot of asian dishes. A little goes a long way.

Didn’t know I needed this, but now I put it in everything
I originally bought this to try my hand at Thai recipes and achieve that restaurant-quality flavor. I get the hype now. I’ve started adding a sprinkle to just about everything: fried rice, beef dishes, you name it. The other day I made some curry stew beef that was already seasoned perfectly, but I added a touch of this MSG just to experiment. The flavor elevated instantly. It gave it that buttery, rich, luxurious taste like something straight out of a Michelin-starred kitchen. This stuff is magic.
