Works great
Great and inexpensive RAM upgrade for an older HP Elitebook 8440p laptop my kids are using. Perfect fit, installation wasn't too hard (2nd slot is under the keyboard, not sure who thought that was a good idea), did help speed and performance on the old machine.

Just works smooth as silk!
Just find a youtube video on how to swap the RAM cards out.Bottom card was just one screw and a little prying. Top keyboard was three bottom marked screws and the four top clips. Just set the board to the side, no reason to unplug anything.Just gently release the old RAM boards. Even on this 12 year old computer the RAM sockets played very nice.Very easy and they work perfectly!!I was getting disk RAM swapping with some heavy apps so this should cure all that. 3.7GB to 7.6 now. A very nice upgrade on an old computer that still works very hard.100% recommended and the price was nice.

Great upgrade for slow laptop. Youtube video with precise step-by-step installation instructions. Old chips out and new chips in. Took 10 minutes.

Bought 2 sets of these for my 2 HP Laptops. One of the sticks went dead within an hour of use. Laptop just froze, so had to go investigate. Didn't take long to figure out what was up. So now one laptop has in one new stick (4GB) plus one of the old ones (2GB). Good thing I didn't throw out the old ones in a hurry.Can only keep my fingers and toes crossed that the others don't go bad too. Bummer!

Worked perfectly!
This memory worked perfectly in my HP Elitebook 8440p - to increase my memory from 4G to 8G (I removed the (2) 2G modules, and replaced with these (2) 4G modules. System is now a bit faster, and has extended the usable life of the laptop at an affordable price.
