Very Happy with the Bolt!
As a beginner cyclist, I needed the speed/distance, heart rate and cadence monitoring capability. There are so many on the market that I eventually found myself bouncing between the Garmin 830 Edge and Wahoo Bolt for some time, debating with myself and trying to convince myself the huge price difference of the Garmin justified the features. I finally settled on the Wahoo Bolt with Sensors package and must say that I am very happy. It has everything that I need and for what you get it is well worth it, over the almost 200 quid more cost to the Garmin for things like colour and touch screen. I found the Wahoo Bolt accurate, easy to learn, and ideally customisable via linked mobile app. If you are like me debating between the Garmin and the Wahoo Bolt, it will come down to how much more you want to spend to do the same job.

Great value and couldn’t find a flow in over 3000km
Super intuitive and with a very long battery life. Compatible with my faceto assioma pedals and great stats at a glance. Have been using it for more than 3000km now and still haven’t found a flaw.Buttons are intuitive and there is no touch screen that goes crazy in the rain... like for other competitors

Great product - helps you achieve faster rides
Great product. The photos on Amazon or actually have an older version of the one wahooo. The one I received is the bold stealth version and this is the latest version of the computer. The computer bundle is great to record your speed cadence and heart rate and helps you push out those faster speeds on your route. My first ride was 1 mile an hour faster than previous rides just because I was able to look at the average speed and using the LED lights to keep me on track for a good average. The navigation works well with Strava and allows you easily to connect and download routes, although direction is only provided by breadcrumb route guidance rather than turn by turn instructions. Personally I find this to be good because I typically plan my route in advance and so having a marked map is all I need

Wahoo ELMNT Bolt - does the job, good value.
All the sensors work well and are accurately reported via the Bolt. The Wahoo app provides pretty good analysis but the ability to seamlessly pass the data to Strava is brilliant. Route building with Strava does not support turn by turn notification in the Bolt - I get round this by building a route on RidewithGPS and use Strava for the post ride analysis. If you just want a map to show you where you are going then a route built on Strava works just fine. I have linked the Bolt to the Garmin radar rear light which is excellent. I also link the Wahoo Tickr to the Watt Bike when I'm down the gym. The stem attachment seems sturdy and secure. I like that the screens are customisable (controlled by the Wahoo phone app). Screen is clear in all light conditions.

Does the job
I debated whether i needed a bike computer at all, but having decided to take the plunge and looked at various options and reviews I settled on the Bolt. It provides far more facilities than i actually use, but what i want it provides accurately and without fuss. Simple to set up and use via the app, works flawlessly, option to automatically upload all your rides to Strava, supplied with two mounting options - just what i wanted( I went for the package that includes the cadence, speed and heart rate sensors). The only thing that had me scratching my head was when using it after the initial set up you dont pair the Bolt with your phone, you pair the Bolt with the Wahoo app. In practical turns turn on the bolt, fire up the app on your phone, as soon as it says "Bolt connected" you are good to go! Sadly, despite its aero design, it has not turned me into a world class cyclist overnight. Other than that, I'm delighted with it :)

Great little piece of kit!
****UPDATE**** After 3 months my bolt failed, screen started flickering and it got stuck in an endless boot up sequence. Wahoo replaced under warranty without any problem. Hopefully this one lasts better! Still impressed with it when it worked. This is a great product! My first cycle computer and it's been just about perfect, easy to set up using your mobile phone, simple to mount on the bike and the bundled sensors where just as straight forward to install, battery life is good I seem to be getting well over 10 hours between charges and it hasn't gone below 40% yet.. I've done several long rides out using it to navigate and it's worked a treat. Only minor issue is an occasional junction missing from the maps on some smaller roads. The best way I've found to plot routes is using the "ride with gps" website and have that connected to the Elemnt by activating it on your phone. Strava does not appear to give you turn by turn instructions. All in all I'm very impressed!

not personal
If you want to spend monthly subscription with training peaks or other for training plans and workouts then this gadget is great, but if you want to develop your own training plan with your own workouts then this gadget is garbage - i.e. Wahoo do not have software in which you can develop your own workout and upload to gadget, you have to pay training peaks or other to develop a "custom" training plan for you. A bit of a duff deal if you then need to pay circa $30 pm in addition to cost of wahoo gadget in order to follow a training plan. Recommend buying a different brand, not garmin whose software is atrocious and the edge fails to sync and you risk spending more time setting the thing up and on garmin help lines than actual training. Unsure how these firms stay in business.

Better than Garmin
I chose this over the comparable garmin due to the fact it it has a black lcd screen and actual buttons. The battery life is great and maps quite good too, navigation is simple to follow and the directional l.e.d feature is pretty cool.It has never let me down in almost a year of heavy usage and the battery in the tickr, speed and cadance sensor is holding up well.
