I found it convenient for getting into tight spots on drain offs and for gate valves that have lost their heads. Special tools like this must be taken care of lol. I'm going to have to buy another now that we have gotten rid of the apprentice. Review: These are great for chasing threads with a tap. The square drive fits multiple size taps. I’ve been using one since the 90’s. It finally wore out and I decided to get another and went with a cheap knockoff. The gears were terrible right out of the package. Yellow jacket is the way to go. Works great. desertcart wanted me to mention “sheerness” and “thickness” I don’t know how either of those words pertains to this tool?

Great. Very convenient to have 4 sizes in one tool.

Added benefit is that it id great for tightening central heating pump valves and drain cocks.
