Nice leather, great quality and design, amazing price!
For a little over a year now, I've been using the Alpine Swiss Bifold Wallet with Removable Flip Up ID Window, but even though I liked the design and quality, I never liked the little nub it had. It's not good for it to rub up against my phone all the time, even though the phone is in a case. I honestly think the nub is a crucial design flaw they should have thought through and scrapped. So I went on the hunt for another wallet, and because I liked my current Alpine Swiss wallet so much, I really just wanted another like it but without the nub. Well this one is great and definitely an improvement over the other one. I like all the space for cards, it makes them easier to store and access, but I am only using three spaces on one of the slots, and two spaces on each of the other two. I definitely wouldn't want to put more cards than this. Another plus which I missed that my previous wallet didn't have was the divider where you put your cash. That way I can keep miscellaneous items on one side and my cash on the other side. The leather on this is a very soft leather, which makes pulling it in and out of the pocket a much easier and smoother experience. I absolutely recommend this one. The value cannot be beat!

Best multi-card wallet. Period.
Just THE BEST wallet for people like me who carries a lot of credit cards. it has 12 slots for credit cards, 4 internal side pockets, two compartments for cash and transparent window for drivers license. All cards fit quite snug, so it's a bit hard to pull them out of a slot, but after a month of usage this problem will be gone (genuine leather is quite stretchy). I used the older model of this wallet (2-year old) and this upgrade is just much better. Alpine Swiss removed their plastic/metal red logo which looked awkward on black leather, and replaced with embossed company name. Aesthetically, it is a significant improvement. Leather quality... Ah... You'll be shocked that $10 leather can be such soft and pleasant to touch. Amazing feeling. Cons... Yes, this wallet is not ideal. It has horrible chemical smell (subject to CA Prop 65 ???). I keep it outside now and hope the smell will be gone in couple days. Alpine Swiss, think about how to fix it. It ruins the first impression.

High quality wallet at a good price
I am writing this for the Alpine Swiss Bifold Wallet with id flip out, seems like some different products are lumped together for reviews. I got this wallet to replace a nearly 20 year old Costanza beast. I kept old cards because it was so stretched out that if I took one thing out everything else would fall out. Anyways, my initial review would be that this is a good wallet made of high quality leather. The leather is soft, smooth, and smells like... leather. The pockets fit a credit card well, snug enough so they won't fall out without being too tight. The normal slots won't fit anything bigger than a credit card however. There is a slot between the ID foldout and the money pouch which fits a slightly larger card, I have my double-wide magnetic work ID card in there. It also has the bigger openings underneath the credit card pouches that most wallets have. These will work for thicker items. I've been using it for 2 weeks now and I don't think it will wear out quickly but I will update if it does. My only negative is that the flip out ID holder isn't sewn on square to the rest of the wallet, it's at a slight tilt. It's still securely attached and fully functional but I notice it's not square every time I open it.

Wearing all ready
Only after four days of being in the back pocket of my jeans, the color is starting to wear off. The size, feel, and construction of it seems good (so far). If you're not overly concerned about looks, it seems like a good buy for the money. UPDATE: The coloring of this wallet is poor. After about 5 weeks after my initial review the color has worn even more. The rest seems to be holding up pretty well so far. So as stated before, if you're concerned about the appearance of this wallet, it's not for you.

19 places to organize your money, credit cards, ID cards etc.
This is it! I have a version of this wallet from Alpine Swiss, and it's looking kind of shabby after many years of use. Apparently that model was retired. I can't comment on the quality or longevity of this model, yet. I hope it holds up as well as the one I am replacing. I'm going to take a chance and order a couple more of these to be sure I always have a wallet like this available. Alpine Swiss could do a better job of describing all the places you can put items. Let me try. Assume the wallet is a book. Front cover, 4 "pages": Inside surface of front cover, a "page" that flips, and inside surface of back cover. "Page 1": Inside surface of the front cover: 4 credit card (CC) size slots, behind those 4, is a "tuck-behind" slot. All tuck-behind areas are as long as the credit card slots, but wider. I tape spare car keys to business cards and slide them into these tuck-behind slots. Total locations: 5. "Page 2": This is the 'flap" that flips back and forth. This "page" has 4 credit card size slots, and one "tuck-behind" slot. Total locations: 5. "Page 3": Flipping the "page" to page 3, there is a window for your ID (or other) and one "tuck-behind" slot. This tuck-behind slot is deep behind "page 1". Total locations: 2. "Page 4": Inside surface of the back "cover". 4 credit card (CC) size slots, plus 1 "tuck-behind" slot. Total locations: 5. In addition, there is a divider in the long slots that run the entire length of the wallet. Where you typically put money. Total "money" locations: 2 That's a total of 19 locations!
