We remember Stopping by Woods or Fire and Ice, but the characters Frost portrays are so unusual, so remarkable, we can only wonder how unique New Hampshire may be. Or is it even remotely possible that characters such as these are to be found everywhere?

Robert Frost's New Hampshire helped me rediscover this great poet. Over the years he had all but slipped from my memory until i tried this book, which I had not read until this year. The notes helped me in my rediscovery. I recommend it for anyone interested in early and mid-20th Century poets.

I’ve always enjoyed Frost’s poetry. This book did not disappoint. Each poem stretched my understanding of history and gave an insight into New England.

Bought for kindle, well designed, not my taste, I prefer Poe, will read or browse a bit.

History of the white mountain area

Sehr schlecht formatiert und keine Absätze in den Gedichten. Es gibt nirgendwo ein Inhaltsverzeichnis! Nicht am Anfang, nicht am Ende und auch nicht im kindle-Menü. Ein Lyrikband ist so unbrauchbar.
