CLAM 3-4 Person Lightweight Pop Up Ice Fishing Tent

Stupendous. Wonderful. Tough. WARM. Ordered for a staging "workshop" during winter months to aid in a building remodel. This shelter is perfect! Work table, chair, cooler, small woodstove and room to work. Love the Clam.Update. The Clam was purchased 9.17. Exactly four and a half weeks later? Total Failure. The Clam was erected carefully, all tiedowns and stakes were well secured and it was placed in between two cargo trailers for protection from wind. Last weekend we had a quick snowstorm blow through with total snowfall of 3/4 of an inch. Next day temps rose and melting happened. The Clam folded in on itself like a tent with all poles removed. Upon examination, the central hub failed and all poles broke without support. Unbelievable. A shelter designed for ice fishing? Manufacturer needs to put a warning tag on this shelter. "ONLY FOR USE IN NO SNOW CONDITIONS." You may be interested to know the coleman screenhouse is absolutely fine. It has a taffeta roof about as thick as tissue paper, no slope and no damage whatsoever.

Lots of room all around, could fit 4 people easily, pitch black inside. The windows seem a little on the thinner side and are not removable, which is okay with me. Easy set up and take down. Comes with 4 anchors and tie downs and a huge over sized bag so it's easy to pack up.

I love this shelter. Its well designed, easy to setup / tear down. its warm inside, the windows allow plenty of light in, and you can close them for spearing. 4 adults with gear and heater fit comfortably. I left it out on the ice for 3 days, every day when I opened it. there was water on the ice "floor" with no heater on. my only issue with it is you need to put it in a sled and pull it, its too heavy to carry for a long time like a duffle bag, and because the handles are in the middle for the duffle bag position, it is too low as a backpack, at 5'11 its just above my ankles and hits the back of my legs.Pros : it is bigits very warmEasy setup in 2 minutes, 5 with anchoring it down,There are pockets inside and 2 lots.Con - weight is a bit much for carrying. the bag can be used as a backpack, but because the handles are in the middle and its so long, it hits the back or your calves. - that's why i took away 1 star..

An absolute must if you take ice fishing seriously! This shanty keeps you warm with plenty of windows an doors!Note: not water proof, will leak if snow accumulates an definitely if it starts raining.👍

Used it today for the first time, the tent fit three people very comfortably. I don't know as I would go with 4 bit when it's just my wife and I this is gonna be awesome!

We’ve been out fishing a lot this winter, and just love how easy it is to put up and take down for great mobility! Highly recommend!
