I'm mid-70s and recovering from Achilles tendon rupture surgery, so I'm using the trekking poles to help stabilize me while I try to regain my balance while walking. After trying a pair of cheaper poles that left me feeling less than stable, I bought these poles and find them to be a solid, comfortable, dependable answer to my needs. They are so easy to adjust, the cork handles are really comfortable, and they feel so solid and yet are light-weight. I'm so pleased with them that my roommate and daughter have also both purchased sets to assist them with walking balance issues.

They are sturdy and well designed. The locking clamps are easy to adjust and hold firm. The handles have some cushion and absorb sweat. I'm not a heavy duty hiker and these are a great value for the price.
