Chillout Portable USB Fan - 4 1/2" Personal Fan - White

LOVE IT! This is the best desk fan I've ever owned. I now have one in my home office, one next to my bed, and one at work. I've looked, owned, and seen a ton of different types of desk fans trying to accomplish the same thing. This thing is AWESOME in both price and functionality. I hope they don't stop making them...I may buy like 10 just to have for the rest of my life, I can't imagine an improvement (besides computers dropping the usb standard).

I needed to replace a noisy desk fan at my office. I was getting complaints from co-workers about the rattling my old fan made. I purchased this one at Walmart last week and liked that I didn't have to use an outlet plug for power, I can just plug it into a usb port on my computer.The fan is a little on the large size, IMO, for a portable desk fan. It does a good job though. It is much quieter than my old fan, and while it does make some noise, it won't generate any complaints from co-workers around me. There's no speed control, just an ON/OFF button at the top of the fan. It does not allow you to adjust direction, but that's fine for me. The USB cable is about three feet long. All outside plastic design, including fan blade. The feet on the fan are coated so it doesn't easily slide, which isn't a negative.

Got mine at Walmart for $8.00, just putting it out there.It's quiet, it moves good air flow, it's awesome! I bought this because my high school doesn't have air conditioning, and in 90 degree weather, it gets hard to pay attention because it's so hot. With this it keeps me reasonably cooler, not freezing cold, but just cool enough to make everyone around me jealous. Definitely a good buy!
