Rain Slicks Women's Classic Look Raincoat Hooded Plaid Lined Waterproof Jacket

I should have believed the other reviewers who said it runs very large. I didn't, and ordered my regular size. Wow, it fit like a tent! I sent it back and ordered the next size down, and was very pleased when I got it. It's really heavy duty; it won't tear like some other slickers I've had. I wish it had inside pockets, but otherwise I'm very happy with it. The colors are good too. Although I believe rain slickers are meant to be yellow, I'm sure if you ordered another color you'd be pleased. I first got the blue one, because yellow was out of stock in that size. It was a really nice shade of blue; looked true to the photo. Happily, yellow was available in the size I actually needed and I love it! I recommend this product, but be sure to order a size smaller than you usually get.

I read other reviews about it being big and boxy so I followed their advise and ordered a size smaller than normal. Im so glad I did. I am 5'9 and I usually wear a large or medium top/jacket. I purchased a size small and it fits me perfectly! There is not a lot of room for layers underneath. If you want more room and you are tall, get the medium. I just wanted a rain coat for rainy days and my trip to San Francisco. I don't plan on wearing this when its really cold outside, when I would be wearing a big sweater or something warm underneath. The sleeves are plenty long enough for me and I have long arms. Im still able to roll back the sleeve to show the cute pattern on the inside, which I love!

I purchased the Navy coat with the checked lining since I wanted to use it for camping trips and I knew this coat might get dirty often. After reading all the comments I decided to get a medium, knowing that it might be a bit large for me.I usually wear an 8-10 jacket and the medium runs big across the chest and hips but allows room to layer a sweatshirt or sweater. Not the most flattering fit but I wanted this for practical reasons and this coat does the job.The coat comes down to mid thigh on my 5'3" frame so that would be goodl for really bad weather. Overall it looks like its well made for the price. Most of the other vinyl raincoats I found in stores were pretty flimsy and looked more fashionable rather than functional.If your looking for a raincoat that's sturdy and practical, this should fit the bill nicely!

I ordered the red rain coat and it's a beautiful jacket! The red isn't as bright as the pictures posted but it looks great in person!! My only issue was that it was a bit smaller than I was expecting. Most comments said the jacket was either true to size or even larger but I had the opposite. I did follow the sizing chart when I ordered as well. It's not that it doesn't fit, I just thought I could layer and maybe have on a sweater or something thicker underneath. I ended up using it the day it came in the mail and it did its job very well!! It really is a beautiful jacket!! Just keep in mind if u want extra room to be able to use it in colder months, order a size up!! I do recommend this seller and the item though!!

Total trash. Way too large. My wife is 5'2", this looks like a 55 gallon drum plastic trash bag. Waste of time. Also a plus, if you want a left pocket on the right, order this. Pictures speak for themselves.

This slicker is exactly as advertised. It fits just as shown on the model in the photo. It will definitely keep you dry as it is made of PVC and is completely waterproof. I would definitely recommend this raincoat to keep you dry from your head to you hips or bum. The hood is a good fit also, and the plaid lining is cute.

NOT generous fit as stated in ad. It's a really great material and look but if you have any bit of a tummy, it's going to be too snug to wear with anything other than a light shirt. I ordered my usual large - the ad even states to order a down size as it's generous. The packing states upon receipt that it's "fitted" - other than the snug waist, the fit would be perfect so ordering a size larger would be too big. VERY disappointing. That all said, it is very pretty and excellent quality. The sleeves can be rolled and the lining is beautiful, but it's too damned small for anyone with any weight.

Pros: waterproof, the lining is nice, there is some ventingCons: Could use some additional venting for the summer (I usually wind up just not zipping it up), the hood doesn't come super far forward/falls off easily, and the zipper is very fussy. Also runs *very* large in every dimension - I'm 5'6" 140 lbs, and the medium sleeves are about 4" past my fingertips, the bottom hits me at the mid-thigh, and I think I could wear several bulky sweatshirts under it comfortably.All that said, I still use it, since it does work as a rain jacket. If you just need something waterproof and serviceable, this will work.
