This book is another home run from Rebecca Firth!!!! Just like The Cookie Book, you can find easy, quick recipes for the juvenile baker, or you can really step it up and make something a little more advanced!! Either way you go, all recipes will dazzle your family and friends and are absolutely DELICIOUS to eat!!!! I love Rebecca’s creativity with her recipes and her overall tone is just simply hilarious and the BEST. highly recommend for your holiday gift list!!!!!!

I really appreciate that all ingredient quantities are given in both volume and weight. I prefer to measure in grams these days, but so much of my life was spent measuring in cups that it's helpful to have both units listed so as I check that I have everything I need, I can eyeball "yep, I have at least 2.5 cups of flour".This selection of recipes allows me to choose cakes that have the right amount of fuss - I can choose from the more-simple sections if I don't want to spend the time or do the cleanup for the fancier cakes, but there are times when I want to impress or spend the more time, I can! Every cake I've made so far has turned out very well!

I ordered the Cookie book awhile back and really enjoyed the recipes in that book. The Cake book, however, isn't for you if you're looking for something simple and quick. There are some unusual ingredients that I don't see myself going to buy. If you're into spending a lot of time in the kitchen, then this book is for you.

When I bought Rebecca’s cookie book, I thought it was the only baking book I would need for the rest of my life. I was able to clear out space and donated tons of cookbooks. I just needed “The Cookie Book”. Well…. Now there is “The Cake Book”. Of course I ordered it! The recipes look amazing. I am so excited to try them. You can’t go wrong with a recipe from Rebecca Firth!
