I repair photocopiers for a living (“Take me now Lord, I’m ready anytime you are!”). Thanks to Toner and Dust, you need a special vacuum cleaner AND an air blower. Why? The vacuum will pick up piles of toner and developer and remove thick dust from filters BUT it is sometimes MUCH better to use a blast of air at a target than to try and use a vacuum. Proof? Ever try to blow out birthday candles on a cake by inhaling? Anyhow, I had purchased a lesser model about a year ago which served me very well until the On/Off Switch broke. I had repaired it and it lasted for a few more months until…it slid off of a copier and landed on the floor where it became stuck in the On position. Did I mention that at the time, I was in a Police Station in the 911 Call Center where people are on the phone trying to answer emergency calls and route police to the scene? I had to silence the unit with “extreme prejudice”. So, I now was in need of another unit. I searched and decided on this one. It was more expensive but for any tool I use every day, I’m always willing to spend the extra $$ for function and/or quality. Performance: It IS more powerful than what I was using. It’s great for getting rid of toner, dust and paper dust in crevices and hard to reach places. Now, a can of compressed air WILL provide a superior blast of concentrated air. However, there are two areas in which this unit excels. 1) With the canister of air, as you use it, the can gets very cold and this greatly reduces the airflow whereas this unit provides consistent airflow.2) Sometimes you have to position the air nozzle in a unique/difficult-to-reach area and if you tilt a can of air in any position other than upright, you risk blasting the area with freezing liquid rather than compressed air. Not so with this unit. All-in-all, I’m quite content with it and would purchase again. Improvements I’d like to see: The LED light isn’t very bright nor useful. I’d like to see a handle more contoured to the human hand with, perhaps, a rubberized grip. The indicator lights for On/Power-Level are simply two teensy little dots. The On/Off and light switches feel a bit cheap. Things to note: This Unit has a fair amount of torque to it, therefore, it takes about 5sec to get up to speed and sounds like a miniature jet engine spooling up which is actually kinda cool… Hope this helps any prospective buyers!God bless and take Care!

I'm impressed with how well this product works! I was getting tired of constantly purchasing canned air, as the cost adds up quickly. Typically, I used canned air to remove dust from my computers, but this is by far the best replacement I've found. Although it can be a bit noisy, it lasts much longer and provides a stronger blast of air, which is rechargeable.

The air duster is an economical way to get high velocity air. The use instructions could and should be improved. When turning on, you have two speeds. In order to turn on, you must hold the trigger in, then let go after it starts. It is a slow delay start up. Then if you want to change speeds, you pull trigger and release. Same to turn off. Other than the lack of specific instruction, the overall machine is perfect for me. We need high velocity air to clean honey comb blinds on a larger window. Sometimes tiny bugs (gnats) sometime get in between the binds and this will blow them out. Previously we used compress air in cans. The cans are expensive and had to replenish often. This machine does a better job and will justify it's cost in no time. Using it, I have discovered additional uses; blowing off the tops of ceiling fans where the air vents are, tops and backs of picture frames, etc. I don't think you will go wrong purchasing this one. The only reason I did not give a five start rating is because it now makes a high whining that started after a few uses. I have a concern of the longevity of it. That is yet to be know.

I bought a different brand and gave it away. It was too powerful. It blasted air more than twenty feet away.This one is just right. It easily blows dust from my scroll saw and even scatters the debris on the floor. Yet, the attachment with the soft brush is great for cleaning the keyboard and any other surface that needs a 'gentle touch'.Two buttons. One is the small, powerful LED light. The other is the power button... and that will surprise you. Press it and nothing happens for a few seconds...<?> Well, the mechanism seems to be warming up because within a few seconds the powerful blast of air explodes and continues to generate enough power to clean any nearby surface you point to. I admit, I was like a kid with a new toy at first. I sprayed the entire area... trying to find the extreme range of its power.Oh, one point. you need to find a USB port to plug in to recharge the battery. So far, once it was charged, I haven't had to recharge the battery.

This works great I wanted to stop buying the canned air which has gotten to cost a lot of money for one can.Mostly used the canned air for cleaning the dust from out of PC's this is the best replacement I have used it and it works great. It is a little noisy, but it last longer and the force of air is a lot better and rechargeable.

There are two settings for speed and both are very powerful! I started on the first setting and it blew everything off my table, minus the lamp. The high speed is incredible. I have used this to clean my coffee grinder and a filter for an air purifier. Both came out looking almost new!Yes, this is the one you want if you are looking for speed and power. It is also very easy to use, although the instructions are written so small, I had to magnify it just to read it.

This will save me a lot of money over the years. I repair and maintain computers and I go through a lot of can air. Not anymore with this blower. It's as powerful as a leaf blower. In fact I used it to clear the leaves off my porch. I am not kidding.

Large battery life, but not powerful enough to replace a can.

I've used the duster a handfull of times over the last 12 months, maybe 6 or 7 at most.Worked fine at first, but now refuses to charge or turn on, dissapointed.
