Tastes great, very expensive, a couple of questionable ingredients
I recently discovered gummy vitamins, and they tasted so good, it made me crave gummy candy, something I had previously never been drawn to, even as a child. I decided if I was going to indulge in candy, I should try to get the least unhealthy brand I could find, which led me to these particular gummies. Since I made a big commitment buying a box with 24 packets of them, I was delighted to discover that they taste great. The texture is terrific, too, not at all hard, but pleasantly soft and chewy. The biggest drawback of this brand is the cost. At the price I paid here on Amazon, these gummies cost about 7 cents each. They are sold in tiny, individual packets with 11 pieces of candy in each, weighing per packet .8 ounce (23 grams). The label on each packet proudly proclaims the candy inside comes to "only" 70 calories, but that's a lot of calories for such a small amount of candy. A single tiny gummy has 7 calories. In short, every bite of these tasty gummies is expensive in both calories and cost.Below is a list of ingredients. There are only two that are somewhat problematic, carnauba wax and natural flavors. I have provided information on them. The rest of the ingredients are as acceptable as junk-food ingredients can be. Nothing can counteract the fact that all sweeteners, even natural ones, can have adverse effects on blood sugar, and sticky candy is particularly hard on the teeth because it clings tenaciously to the enamel.Note to vegans: Though these gummies use pectin instead of non-vegan gelatin, unfortunately, the vegan status of the sugar content is a big unknown because it is hard to tell how much processing has been done to the "organic cane sugar" listed in the ingredients. That confusingly generic term offers no clue if it was bleached, which often involves the use of non-vegan bone char rather than the vegan-friendly methods of granular carbon or an ion-exchange system.Ingredients: Organic tapioca syrup, organic cane sugar, organic tapioca syrup solids, organic white grape juice concentrate, pectin, citric acid, ascorbic acid, color added (black carrot juice concentrate, turmeric, annatto), natural flavors, sodium citrate, organic sunflower oil, carnauba wax.Carnauba Wax AKA Brazil Wax and Palm Wax. This wax is harvested from the leaves of the Copernicia prunifera, a palm plant that grows only in northeastern Brazil. The trees grow up to 50 feet tall. Their leaves are individually removed by hand, a maximum of 20 leaves per tree, per year, to avoid harming the tree. The leaves are dried in the sun, then beaten to loosen and remove their wax. Carnauba wax has many industrial uses, but its main one is to produce a glossy finish, whether on candy, cars, shoes, dental floss or floors. Because it is hypoallergenic and has emollient properties as well shine, it is frequently used in cosmetics. It is also used for pharmaceutical medications to coat tablets in order to make them easier to swallow. Carnauba wax is regularly used in a range of food products, for example: sauces, chewing gum, candy corn, jelly beans, and gummy candy. As of 2001, the EU accepted usage of carnauba wax in food products up to a maximum level of 200 mg/kg of food and an estimated safe consumption level per individual of up to 8 mg/day. It is impossible to know how much carnauba wax is contained in a serving of this product.Natural Flavor: The definition of natural flavor under the Code of Federal Regulations is: "The essential oil, oleoresin, essence or extractive, protein hydrolysate, distillate, or any product of roasting, heating or enzymolysis, which contains the flavoring constituents derived from a spice, fruit or fruit juice, vegetable or vegetable juice, edible yeast, herb, bark, bud, root, leaf or similar plant material, meat, seafood, poultry, eggs, dairy products, or fermentation products thereof, whose significant function in food is flavoring rather than nutritional" (21CFR101.22). That essentially means that natural flavor is derived from a real food, but the process by which it is derived is unexplained and there is no way to know how safe or healthy a natural flavoring is.Sodium Citrate: This is used in food products as an emulsifier and refers to any one of the three sodium salts of citric acid, and most commonly the third one: monosodium citrate, disodium citrate, and trisodium citrate. Sodium citrate is metabolized to sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), thus acting as a systemic alkalizer.

Healthy fruit snacks, but still not for everyday!
I'm not a big fan of fruit snacks. They are honestly glorified candy, regardless of how healthy their ingredients might be. My kids adore them, but I don't buy them often as they aren't the best for teeth and as snacks go offer little nutritional value (no fiber, protein, etc.).I did buy these to include in the pinata for my son's birthday, as his friends would have been QUITE disappointed if there were no treats on hand. I figured at the very least I could introduce some families to a good quality organic product that's at least a better option than many mainstream equivalents.Yes, these are organic. They do contain electrolytes, though I would argue it's a bit of a stretch to consider them fuel after a sports game! Particularly with the sugar coating these are definitely a treat. All of the kids LOVED them... the liked the texture and flavor (including the kids I know don't tend to eat many "healthy" packaged snacks). So, if you're looking for a healthier option in fruit snacks, I'd recommend these. Just try to get your kids to brush afterward and don't offer them everyday!

Will disappear quickly & won't disappoint
Right off these are great, better than the welches fruit snacks. 1st there's no dye in these so your not feeding your kids Red40 or blue1 or yellow 5 or any of those nasty fake colors. 2nd the pouches are smaller than they appear online. The pouches are about the size of a deck of cards ( for comparison ) have about 8-10 fruit snacks in them. Each pack is 70 calories 20 grams of sugar ( fructose ) an are free of all GMO's.Just another FYI your kids, husband or wife will want to eat more cause these fruit snacks are great so I'd suggest you buy a second box an stash it cause the fruit snacks will be gone very shortly.

lowest sugar all natural organic allergy clean fruit snack i can find
These are now our go to for fruit snacks. Annie's changed their recipe and now contain 11 grams of sutra per serving instead of 10 and they are now sticky which makes for yucky fingers after eating them. These fruits snacks are the lowest in sugar I can fins that are organic and contain no artificial colors or flairs or preservatives. As a bonus, not that we need it but one on my daughter's friends is allergic, all Tasty products are produced in nut free facilities. Very clean, very tasty, as the name says, and the kids love them of course, heck, me too for that matter.

Great tasting with no artificial food dyes!
I love these fruit snacks. Free from any artificial food dyes or ingredients, they are as safe as fruit snacks can be. Nice chewy texture and the flavors are very yummy. I dig these much more then the original flavors. I don't think my little boy cares which version he receives. LoL, I actually taught him to say please with these snacks. Guess how many times it took to get him to say please... Once, hehe. So they taste great and kids will love them, of course right. More expensive than their poisonous counterparts but you do get the best deal here on Amazon by far, especially when compared to trying to buy them in a supermarket. I do wish you could buy huge bulk bags, instead of single serving packets.

Tasty Brand Organic Fruit Snacks, Mixed Fruit Flavors, 4-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)...
1. I commend the company's product, production values and goals.2. The ingredients are the best that I've seen in a snack-food product3. These snacks pratically melt in your mouth and provide you with a day's requirement of Vitamin C4. Personally, I prefer the consistency of which the Welch's Mixed-Fruit Snacks provide. In other words, something more to 'chew on.' That's my only knock on this product! Great, otherwise!5. Even with the knock on the product (see #4), I rate these snacks: 5 stars!

Ooey Gooey Brush your teeth delicious!
My almost 2 year old loves fruit snacks. The Annie's ones are a bit pricey but these seem like a better deal to me. They are just as good if not better tasting. My son loves them. He walks around with the last one for like 30 minutes before he caves and eats it. They are very gooey so they aren't a firm fruit snack. Definitely need to brush your teeth after these. I think its cute that it instructs you to do so on the box! We will order again.
