Redmond Earthpaste - Natural Non-Fluoride Toothpaste, 4 Ounce Tube (3 Pack, Wintergreen)

To everyone freaking out over the lead warning...The FDA has found trace amounts of lead in 80% of the foods they tested including organic fruit juices.Next time you go to a restaurant, such as Chilli's for instance, you will see a sign right on the wall that warns of prop 65.Trust me, I totally want my family to be free of toxins, but there is only so much we can do to avoid bad stuff. This toothpaste is not going to be the thing that kills you, unless you eat a tube of it for every meal every day. So don't eat it and you'll be fine :).

Once you give it a try, if you're like me, you'll never go back to the flouride toothpastes with the artificial sweeteners and all those chemicals. There is a small adjustment period while you get used to the not overly sweet flavor, but I actually have grown to really enjoy the wintergreen flavor and the charcoal peppermint. Both leave a refreshing taste, and they do a great job of cleaning your teeth.

This toothpaste is really great. The non-foaming aspect is different if you're switching from conventional toothpaste, but I easily adjusted to it. It's great for kids who like to swallow toothpaste, because it's edible. It also cleans my teeth really well. I experimented with using this and then switching back to conventional paste, and I did not get any cavities while using this, but I got 3 cavities after I switched back. (And all other factors were equal- I didn't brush my teeth more or change my diet or lifestyle, or even brush at a different time of day.)The only downside to this is that the flavor is pretty strong. I'd recommend the cinnamon flavor for kids and those of us who prefer a milder flavor. I've found the peppermint flavor to be the strongest. The wintergreen is fairly strong but not overpowering, and the cinnamon is the mildest.

We have been very pleased with this product especially after I went to the dentist and found out that a small cavity I had previously was remineralizing. Was not expecting that to happen but it did. We will definitely continue to have this as the primary toothpaste in our household. While it may be a little pricey, if it works I am willing to pay it.

BUY IT! BUY IT! AND BUY IT! It's great fckn toothpaste! And though they don't say it's going to whiten your teeth, it does!!! It sure as hell puts those advertised big brand, whitening toothpastes to shame, shame, shame! They can't hold a candle to the whitening, cleaning and shine your teeth get from Earthpaste! And the taste! OMG! I love, Love, LOVE wintergreen! And oh, I have sensitive teeth, and mouth, apparently. Toothpaste, the big popular brands, have always, always burned my mouth, and are the big reason I avoided brushing as a child, it hurt!! My teeth suffered because of this! I'm not saying my teeth would be perfect if I'd had Earthpaste when I was a kid, but they might have been. Because I would have brushed them when I was supposed to, instead of wetting my toothbrush and faking it! I'm angry now when I realize that all that was avoidable!So if you have a child that avoids brushing, this is the brand to get! Nobody should need to feel pain, nor be poisoned with Fluoride to get clean teeth! Fluoride, one of the most toxic substances known to man, and it's inside toothpaste which goes in my mouth, so some will end up being swallowed! Insanity!But along came Earthpaste, of which I had my doubts, even with the great reviews. But I wanted something wintergreen to brush my teeth with, and I just knew there had to be something out there that would fit the bill. And that it's so fricking great, and gets teeth white, and smooth, (sheesh, I never knew my teeth could be so smooth) and it's not toxic to myself, or anything, or anyone else, are just bonuses after bonuses!!!And for those wondering, nope, not getting a dime for this review! And I'm not somebody that reviews often, and it's rare that I come across a product so good I'm compelled to do so. But obviously Earthpaste is one of them. And I promise you, if you give it a chance, it will be for you too! And I'm certain they have other flavors, though I can't tell you what they are cause I was focused on wintergreen!
