These ice pop molds are fantastic and worth every penny. I bought these because I wanted something durable that will last, and I don't want to worry about plastics or chemicals. I am really happy with this purchase. I make a lot of popsicles and have tried many molds. This set is my keeper, for sure. The ice pops freeze fast and they release from the molds with ease. The molds are well-crafted and built to last. I measured, and each mold holds 1/3 cup of liquid. I love that the molds are separate from the base. I initially viewed this as a convenience, but now see it as essential to any good ice pop mold. It makes it so much easier to wash and refill, and I can run a bit of warm water over the mold without worrying about melting or releasing any of the other ice pops (which is a problem with the one-piece mold sets). I also really appreciated the great customer service from the seller. One of my molds arrived with a slight defect. When I contacted the seller I got a prompt, apologetic response. They immediately sent a replacement by courier. They included a few packets of their crystallized citrus product in the package. It's nice to receive such thoughtful service in this day and age.

When there are less expensive popsicle molds out there, to spend this much money on molds seems outlandish, especially when the economy is so up in the air. I looked ahead and realized toilet paper, workout gear and swimming pools are getting out of stock, and with summer here, moms and dads everywhere are going to want to keep their kiddos entertained and fed with summer treats. Popsicles are equivalent to summer so I splurged and bought a set. Best quarantine purchase so far! I went with the metal molds because metal should outlast silicone and plastic and I wanted a set that will last several years. The inside metal of each mold is a matte finish and with the outside nice and shiny. The molds sit nicely in the rack and the lids fit gently on the top of the molds. The lids are not meant to be sealed or fit tightly, more of a covering in the freezer. No big deal though because when the popsicles freeze, the lid is firm and holds well. The set comes with bamboo sticks in a cute little bag and can be replaced with more sticks or regular popsicle sticks. The lids also have rubber discs to slid the sticks into. These work great to hold the sticks securely in the lids and come in a variety of colors which work great to identify different flavors of popsicles if you made more than one at a time, or if the kiddos like one color over the other. These also come in a draw string bag with extras. The only draw back I have noticed is one of our seals got pulled out of the lid and pops out easily. Not a big deal but just an FYI. As far as cleaning, I have found that cream based popsicles tend to leave a residue that it tricky to clean. Two things help this- using a baby bottle brush to get into the crevices or just a quick rinse when you are done eating. Again, not a big deal but just a handy hint. I have not tried using them in the dishwasher since the sink seems to always have soapy water and they are so easy to clean. After all, we are in quarantine- we should have time to clean popsicle molds! As far as recipes, I went online to Pinterest, which we all love, and found some good ones, and I have also just used juice with crushed fruit that I had on hand. I also went crazy and mixed juices with some whipping cream (unwhipped) and some with coconut cream. I have thought about making extra smoothies and pouring it into the molds but never seem to have enough of that leftover. When frozen, I either leave the remaining popsicles in the mold until we eat them or I have taken the remaining out and layered them in a glass storage container with parchment paper for a quick grab. I also place the mold on top of this in my freezer since the rack has wire footings like my freezer shelf and it won't tip over. All in all, these molds are great and well worth the money. Enjoy!

These are so awesome! I am embarrassed to say that I have had these in the box for the last 2 1/2 years. I’m not quite sure why I haven’t used these. Maybe because it was it wasn’t so hot last year. Or maybe I just thought it was going to be too complicated. These are so cool, so easy, so cheap in the long run because you will spend an absurd amount in the grocery store. They are a little awkward getting the popsicle out of the metal container when out of the freezer, But you can just run warm or hot water over it for 5 to 10 seconds and it will slide right out. If you put too much liquid on top it may become messy putting cap on or lifting on the tray or putting in the freezer. They are super easy to clean. I basically just rinse the mold out and I don’t even need to stick a cleaning brush in there. At first I was using a big spoon to pour it into mold. But it was very messy like this., So you should just pour directly from the blender. When inserting the wood popsicle stick leave about three fingers worth exposed. If you are using these for two people in the household I would recommend getting 12 molds. 1/2 of 1 quart of ice cream+ fruit etc fits into 6 molds. This is a great idea if you want to eat less, because normally I would eat the whole half of 1 quart of ice cream. Now I just I am content with two Popsicles, and the best part is that I could make these organic, dairy free gluten-free.

I've really enjoyed these popsicle molds so far! I was looking to avoid plastic, so these were perfect. Pros: - Well made, tray keeps individual molds perfectly upright - individual molds means you can easily take one out at a time - the lids go on relatively easily, and provide good protection from debris and/or freezer burn - I like that it came with good quality bamboo sticks (I will reuse them a couple times) Con: - you have to be a bit careful taking them out of the freezer, especially with warm hands on a humid day! The stainless steel can cause that "getting your tongue stuck to a metal pole in the winter" kinda effect if they've been in the freezer for two long. It wasn't a big deal for me, I just used a cloth to pull it out, and let it thaw on the cloth for 2-3min. And I only noticed this freezing of the fingers after leaving them in the freezer for a few days. But something to be mindful of with kids for sure!

On my third batch, I use them to make coffee and almond milk pops. Great quality. I run the mold five seconds under running water and the pop slides right out. Great way to make custom treats. Excellent quality and the design is so retro.. looks like something from the 1940s.
