You dont need a dispenser gun with this. You can easily unroll and apply by hand. The tape adhesion is good, but not so strong that it will rip off paint. The plastic is very thin, and fells whispy but is easy to control and apply. Also, despite how thin it is very strong and does not rip easily. The plastic static clings to the wall or ceiling so you dont need tons of tape to place and keep it down. I was really impressed with the cling and how strong it holds even while using a spray paint gun. Use a razor to cut if you need to as the thin plastic sheet is difficult to cut cleanly with scissors. This is an absolute must have with spray painting!

I cut my paint line with a roll of tape. Then used this product to tape over the tape and kept falling off. Ended up having to tape the tape on this product to make this stuff stay. When I used it again I just went straight onto the work area and stuck fine but was a little harder to cut a line with it because of the plastic. In use it was really good, just an incompatibility to stick to another painters tape product was my beef.
