The Polar Flawless Lacquer Matt Spray has proven to be an excellent choice for my custom plastic paint job on a spa outlet, ensuring durability and longevity without chipping or washing off despite being in daily use.Applying the spray at room temperature provided excellent coverage, and it dried evenly, leaving a desirable matte finish that matches my matt black bathroom components (I combined with Hycote Matt black paint). The spray nozzle's easy control facilitated a smooth application process, contributing to a professional-looking result.It's crucial to highlight the importance of safety precautions. As indicated in the MSDS sheet, using the correct respirator mask and working in a well-ventilated area is advised due to the strong fumes emitted during application, it took some time for the smell to leave my workshop so I wouldn’t advise using this at home indoors unless you could adequately ventilate.Having installed the lacquered parts a month ago, I'm pleased to report that there are no signs of the lacquer failing. Gave a very high shine, I did 2 coats. Easy to use and drys quick, very tough when fully cured.

Good job, nice clean gloss finish. Built up the layers slowly to avoid dripping. Quite a few layers needed on wood

The finish on this product on wood is superb. easy to build up layers for an excellent finish. Much better than matt paints Ive used in the past. quick to app;y. quick to dry betqeen coats.Needs to be done in well ventilated area though.

I bought wall decals that were far too shiny once on the wall. A light spray of the matt varnish and they blend seamlessly and look like wallpaper. It was really easy to use and whilst there is a chemical scent its not that awful. Thank you, it's been bugging me for weeks now it's all fixed!

After checking the questions about whether the ACRYLIC spray works on acrylic paints as a finishing layer, they all said it would. But although tested on a small area, when I sprayed the rest it seemed to react with the white paints and turned then pink/red. The spray is still drying, but hopefully no more discolouration. The painting took me 3 days and was my favorite yet 😭 disappointed. But regardless of my acrlyic painting experience the spray bottle worked, although i would have preferred a alternative cap.

This laquer is very easy to use. I bought 2 cans and used it to laquer an oak bannister rail. I sprayed it onto the bare wood and it covered really well. I gave it 4 coats, but one of the cans was faulty and I couldn't get it to stop spraying so wasted nearly half a can. The bannister looked great when I'd finished, although the satin finish was more of a gloss. Although it dried quickly (touch dry in about 30 mins) it seems to take a long time for the laquer to harden. I had to leave the rail for 2 days before I could handle it without leaving finger marks in the laquer. In future I'll leave it longer between coats and see if that helps.

I’ve used different types of finishes for various wood projects but my cabinet door project for my kitchen just needed a subtle touch. I was trying to match the open shelves that used a paint on finish laquer so i wasn’t sure sure how close this spray would get me. Though it’s not exactly the same, i love the finish this spray had! The paint on lacquer had some drips I couldn’t get rid of with out just sanding the whole thing down. This spray got almost the same coverage (i could have kept spraying but I chose to stop because I didn’t want to use it all up before my project was done and I liked the finish) but with no oopsies. it’s a perfect coat. I did about four coats. Now the bonding will differ based on the type of sanding that’s done in the wood. A great 220 sanding job will have a sleek shiny look. But a lower sanding job will just give it a slight gloss finish. I’m just a dyi-er so my cabinets are not at all even and perfect but it gives it an industrial look to match the rest of the decor. I imagine i will use all four bottles to finish the project consisting of 13 cabinet doors and 9 drawer fronts. It’s hard to see if you’ve got an even coat until it’s dry, though. It doesn’t come on super wet. So you probably have to be on point with your technique if you don’t have a “let’s see how this goes” attitude.

I am really liking this lacquer finish for the way it goes on and looks after drying. I recently have been producing 3-D design plaques with my CNC machine and this finish transforms them into pieces of art. I have tried other spray finishes that drip and get splotchy with the different surface heights. This goes on perfectly and dries quickly. Definitely will continue to purchase after this lot is used.

Excellent lacquer that gives a true matte finish. Only required two coats to get the finish I was looking for. Very quick drying, almost immediately after spraying, you can see it starting to dry. Sprays smoothly.
