Great hair color
I live a good ways from a beauty store. I buy this from Amazon and it's made my life easier. With the price of gas. Amazon having this vendor is a game changer. I save on fuel and it is delivered to my door. Works great no issues

Think this is okay !
So, I am not a professional and to be honest at many times during this process I had no idea what I was doing. All of this started because I was using the manic panic 30 volume bleach kit on my long hair that had colored blonde ends and naturally brunette hair. I was originally planning on bleaching the ends/middle to dye them Wella’s frosty ash and T18 toner but after showering off the bleach my head was strawberry blonde with one brown chunk in the back and my ends were lemon yellow. I applied the frosty ash dye and toner anyway so I had a strawberry blonde head while everything else was grey. And before you ask...yes i used Wella 20 vol developer for every toner and dye.In the past, I had dyed the hair ends of hair and a few highlights on my head with the same manic panic bleach and Wella sand blonde dye and it looked good. So I am not sure why the bleach spread and covered my whole head this time. In the process of trying to get rid of the grey I was dyeing the grey hair Wella’s sand blonde. Also during this time, in a panic, I ordered more bleach and this dye to redye my hair, waiting almost two days after trying to get rid of the grey with the sand blonde dye.Day one: For this dye, I wasn’t sure how much lift was needed to make this dye work, but I re bleached my whole head, including what had already been bleached and dyed (my hair was not happy and I knew it). I tried to lift as much as possible. Think this dye requires 10 levels of lift(?).The pictures with my review highlight my progress starting from the shower after re bleaching my hair. I had super light roots and and some strands but a lot of my hair was lemon yellow to pale lemon yellow or even lighter. I had wet hair in the after bleach picture at at some other stages, and we all know that hair looks darker when wet. After I let my hair air dry a little I dyed it with this, left it on for around an hour and then showered it off, hoping to remove the yellow in my hair. It did and I was happy ... but then as it dried, all I could see was still yellow in my hair. So I went to sleep.Day two: woke up and applied the dye to dry hair, then waited an hour and rinsed off. I wanted to get my hair looking like the blonde that this dye is supposed to make hair look like, and I guess I just might just need to apply more to make that happen. Or something in this process was wrong n that’s why it didn’t work on my first try. But for now, I need to give my hair a rest. I am thinking I will add more dye of this dye in a few weeks. Until then, I’m using anti yellow shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner, which I’ve included a picture of.If it is true that this dye requires a lemon yellow or a pale lemon yellow, my hair (or at least almost all parts of it) had that level of lift. If my hair needed to be lighter, I also had very light (almost white) bleached hair. Everything was bleached. I left the bleach on an absurd amount of time. I couldn’t tell (still can’t) what level of bleached hair this dye showed up better on.As I keep messing with my hair and this dye I will keep this review updated. I am ride or die (dye lmao) for Wella Products but I am not so sure what a non professional is supposed to do to make them work to their potential. I understand the allure of going and getting your hair professionally done but I’ve done that, I’ve gotten nothing past the tips of my hair colored and it’s cost me almost 400 each time. So for now I’m doing it myself. At the end of day two, I straightened my hair (which I’m sure is bad enough but it’s ok!) once it had air dried. I also made sure to do some hair masks during the most recent shower after rinsing off the dye.My hairs always been super dry and it’s really really dry now (the ends especially) so I will be trying to manage that as well as the color.Does the tone down the yellow? Yes...but possibly not enough/over time? Or, depending on how much you bleach it? I had hair with some of the lightest level of lift and I don’t think it showed up on that but I also could be wrong. Also the smell...smells like death. But all Wella dyes and toners and developers would never win an award for the best scent, as far as I know.So yeah, this is alright. I’m sure if I get it to the color advertised I will be happy. But of course, all of this could absolutely 100% be user error, but I did try my best given the unseen results and circumstances. I’m just wondering why the bleach spread to all over my head the first time. Like that was wild. Anyway, I think you should try this out and see how it goes. I don’t regret using this, because I don’t think my hair looks that yellow now, so I’m sure it can’t make anything worse.(The lighting in the pictures (not so much the natural light) is slightly yellow) I will update this.

Beautiful color w/ 10N
The color and state of my hair post-coloring was so much more beautiful and healthier than with box color from the store. I do my own color because my grays come in fast and I don't really care if my color looks natural (be advised). Still, this is easy to use and I apply it with gloves. It's thick enough that it's not a mess. Be sure to leave it on the full 30 minutes or that brassiness will linger.

Works great to tone down brass!
Used this with 20 volume developer on my 6.5 level jair to remove the last of the henna I had put on (which is permanent, contrary to popular myth), to blend in with my now level 8 sandy blonde and 30 % white hair. Worked a treat, after having done the proper math. I wanted something more permanent than a toner, so I could stop putting things on my hair and just let it be natural. This was just the thing.

Lasted two weeks
Covered the gray. But so disappointed that it was a wash after two weeks.

Pretty color
I used this on banana yellow hair and the outcome was great. Im used to wearing a very ash color blonde usually, but this was a nice natural satin blonde. Just make sure you get your blonde to a very yellow stage if coming from a dark color, before applying this or I don't think it'll work.

Did not lighten enough
I bought this in Satin blonde and also bought a 20 developer as that's what the product tells you to mix it with. My hair is dark blonde. It went to a horrible red color. I will never buy this product again
