Not sure what the issue is after during install it showed no sign of power. Took it to a reputable audio shop to test the head unit and it did not pass their test.

Great item till it doesn’t work , the screen broke after 7 months it went black reset it still didn’t work .this item is Warranty for two years, but you have to pay $80 dollars to send the screen to China for them to check it out and see if they can fix it or replace it . In The mean time you are without stereo in your car all this time . The funny thing is I can buy a new stereo right now and it will be here tomorrow wow that fast . But for the warranty you have to deal with someone in China really !!! if they have a Warehouse in the us for purchase why the don’t have replacement here for warranty purposes . I guess warranty are not important anymore .

As you can tell by pic attached its smaller than 8 in, more like 7.12 in. I had an 8 inch stereo before and this one is smaller leaving a gap in a panel

So far it’s been great the only thing I don’t like is you absolutely HAVE TO HAVE steering wheel controls. The drop down for the volume is tiny and the volume bar can’t be moved from its top center configuration. My truck didn’t have steering wheel controls and I have to add them. Other than that it’s working great and the backup camera looks excellent. I also bought the joying dashcam and install was easy

I drive a 22 year old Porsche Boxster S convertible as a daily driver. I had changed the original dash from a single din AM/FM radio to a dual din 7" touch screen unit in 2016 but was never able to use it for phone conversations because nobody could hear me over the road noise. When the old unit began to fail, I found this 8" Joying unit would fit since it has a detachable screen that sits out away from the double din chassis, so I gave it a try.What a difference! Sorry for the out of focus pic, but the screen is much more readable and useful and amazingly, with the supplied microphone attached to the visor people have had no problem hearing me on a phone conversation. The EQ works great which is a tremendous help since audio in a 2 seat convertible is challenging at best. (I added a Rockport self-powered 8" subwoofer last year which helped tremendously as well.) I have tried three nav apps - Google, Waze and Sygic - and all work great. I have SiriusXM, Pandora, Spotify and Amazon Music loaded and again, al work great. The system is very responsive and, unlike my older unit, comes on in a second or so rather than having to wait 15 seconds for it to boot up. All in all, very nice unit and since the guts are the same regardless of the screen size you choose for your vehicle, I would expect that it will be a great match for any other vehicle.
