Excellent book - that every junior ENT doctor needs
Such an excellent book for junior trainees. If you’re a junior starting out in ENT as a rotation or a specialty, this is the book that you need. It is concise and comprehensive and covers all topics you will come across when oncall. The book starts with the ‘essentials’ of ENT including anatomy, history and clinical examination, audiogram a and I also love that it also covers ENT prescribing in much detail. It includes chapters on operating theatre, ward care, emergency and specialised clinic and step by step guide on how to perform ENT procedures - basically everything you need to know when you start off as a junior ENT doctor. The book itself is not too small or big in size - fits in your bag perfectly and easy to carry around. In summary - fantastic book for the junior ENT trainees!

Concise and Practical
This book covers all a junior doctor needs to know about the management of ENT emergencies. It has separate chapters on procedures, theatre and ward management. The book is written in a step-by-step format which is easy to follow. The main bulk of information is in bullet points; concise and to the point. The authors have made it easy for the reader by using tables, photos and diagrams in abundance. I found the chapter on ENT prescribing very useful; it summarises the main medications and their indications in easy-to-read tables. This is a book written to the point and very practical: exactly what you need to manage the ENT on-call as a junior doctor.

Great book for Juniors in ENT
What a lovely book this is, covers everything I need to know as an SHO in ENT, very well structured, with pictures, tables, medications to be prescribed etc. Both I and my team use it on a regular basis here at the RHH, it's a gem. Truly recommend, thanks!
