These lights are in serial connection so if one burns out they all go out.
I'm not used to purchasing lights that are in serial connection anymore. IE. the ones where if one bulb goes out they all go out and then you have to try and find the one that's bad. It's my own fault as didn't read the description closely, and will not use them now as I was planning on hanging them up on my deck where I have to get up on a ladder to even touch them. The lights look nice, but not good for a hard to reach place.
