Used in my brooder, the chicks did fine with it. The small size was very convenient as the brooder only requires a small layer and I didn't need to store a huge bag. The pine helped keep odor down and did not need to be changed often.

Used in our Guinea Pig litter tray. It absorbs great and smells good

I've spent less and got 10 times this much. Absolutely not worth it - unless you're into spending way too much money for not enough stuff. It was not even enough for my brooder box.

Used as mulch for my strawberry patch. Looks like it will work out good, but small package only covered about 1/4 of area, had to reorder a larger package

For the cost I'm a bit disappointed. Looks great! Will still use it.

Great product, but the size was incredibly small. It wasn’t enough to even cover a quarter of my guinea pig cage. My fault for not looking closely at the amount. The picture made it look my usual huge bags of shavings. I pulled it out of the box and couldn’t stop laughing…and then came my frustration of having to wait another day to clean the cage, lol.

I used this for 3 ducklings and it worked very well when I started feeding them separate from their bedding. When I had the water in the same bedding area it worked poorly and smelled because the ducks were just too messy for the product to provide more than what it already has absorbed. So as long as I fed them separately it worked just like I was hoping it would. I would recommend it. great for the price I would buy it again.
