my 9 year old sons review of your book
I like the way he controlled his anger and the way this allowed him to think about his choices before he reacted.I could relate to the boy being bullied because it happened to me and I got scared. I will now ignore and walk away from Roman. The pictures were bright and colourful, my favourite picture is in the pool finding his zen

High level psychology
I think the text could have been made a little fun and and a little less analytical.

Terribly wrong message regarding bullying
The author clearly indicates that the bullied child (who is rightly angry) should just say nothing while taking abuse. This is so very wrong when child psychologists indicate that the bullied child should stand up to the bully in an assertive but calm manner otherwise the bully will be empowered. It is inexcusable to give such wrong messages to kids in such an important topic (such as bullying) by someone who claims to be an expert in the field.

spear the anger on the wall
I love the illustration. Good book. It’s not easy to keep calm, but the best thing to do when you are angry is to read from A to Z.

Beautiful story!
What a sweet way to help kids learn how to deal with one of their biggest emotions! Kids are more likely to listen to their friends and I love how his friend taught him to take deep breaths and count to 10. This is a strategy I use as well. I like how rhyming is incorporated throughout and could be highlighted when read aloud. The story is illustrated well, too. Thank you for putting the effort into something that is really important. Social-emotional skills are foundational.

Calming those big emotions - beautifully and simply
Being a mom to children is challenging especially when you weren’t given the best tools as a child yourself. That being said, I love finding sweet little gems like this to help both myself and my little one grow together in a healthy and calm way.Great and simple tools to help both parents and children alike in managing big feelings like anger.Definitely recommend.
