I don't recommend purchasing this cable for this reason
The cable works okay, but why is the cable directional? That is not compliant with the HDMI spec! Often I go to hook my equipment up and it fails to work because I used the wrong end of the cable, but IT SHOULD WORK EITHER WAY!!!I don't recommend purchasing this cable for this reason.

Great passive 18 Gbps ultra slim cable
Best all around HDMI cable I found. It is very slim and bendable. The HDMI plugs are also very small and fit into tight places. It is full HDMI 2.0 compliant supplying the full 18 Gbps. It is the only ultra slim and passive 18 Gbps cable I found on here. I don't like the active cables with Redmere in them. There is no point in using an active cable unless you are doing a really long run of 25' or more. Highly recommend this cable. I am currently using about 10 of them for all my peripherals and have had no problems. I was able to replace all of my thick, stiff cables with these and am very happy.

Guess I got a lemon. No signal detected between cable box and TV. Replaced with different cord all is well. Of course Amazon put their money where their mouth is as usual and issued a speedy refund.
