I think they passed the test?
Not having used this form of mushroom before, I was curiouswhat the term 'fruit body' meant and the reason for 'cultured on Oats'After some research found that mushrooms have three stages1. starts when a spore germinates and forms a tube called hypha.2. the hypha expands to several which is called mycelium = which is considered the vegetable body.3. the mycelium produces a mushroom which is known as the FRUITING body. From the label it seems this is mycelial biomass grown on sterile grain (Oats) in a laboratoryThe intent is to separate the mushroom and grain starch, but it's generally thought that's not completely possible. So it seems this is real mushrooms but with less beta-glucans and high in alpha-glucans= the OPPOSITE would be true if this were whole mushrooms and mushroom extracts. And would then contain much support for the immune system - brain - energy - general good health.(My opinion) As it is = this holds some benefit, but not like the TOTAL real thing.I came across an Iodine test to tell if the power contained any grain in the form of starch.>>> 1 gram of mushroom powder (1/2 teaspoon) - 3 tablespoons of water - 10 dropsregular iodine tincture from drugstore. Mix to confirm if it contains grain.>>> If it turns purple or black that confirms starch in the mixture.Photos of this test before / after showed the mix stayed brown, very near it original colorso it would seem though this is 'cultured on Oats' that the starch was processed out.which makes me feel this is still a quality product.> This 5 pk includes 4 bottles of single mushroom, Chaga - Lionsmane - Reishi - Turkey Tail, with a combination of Reishi - Turkey Tail - Agaricus balcei - Maitake making up an immune blend. The taste is lightly mushroom, it's not strong, can be added to many food, drinks. It's enjoyable to use, but not the full, bonafide mushroom.

Very good quality mushroom supplements. Love the Immunity blend ingredients.
This is an excellent assortment of mushroom powders. 4 of the bottles are filled with one mushroom variety and 1 bottle has a mushroom blend of assorted mushrooms. The Immunity Blend contains Reishi, Turkey Tail, Agaricus blazei and Maitake. Suggested serving size for each of the mushrooms is 1 teaspoon (2 grams), with 25 servings in each bottle.I have to mention that these are not mushroom extracts, which would provide a concentrated dose of compounds that provide possible health benefits. So, these compare to other 'regular' bulk mushroom powders. I think the first instinct of seeing mushroom supplements in a bottled container is the contents are extracts, hopefully with standardized minimum percentages. This is not meant to knock this product, but just to state the case as i view it.Another issue is there is no certification/badge for GMP or FDA registered facility. Disappointing absence.I used a serving of the Immunity Blend powder in a cup of black coffee. It tasted exactly as expected (similar to my bulk mushroom powders). I liked the familiar earthy taste, and the inherent health benefits even without being an extract, those compounds are still present).Actually, I like these bottles of mushrooms. I can choose from a selection of 5 mushroom forms, put a bottle inside my bag and have a respectable container that I can access for my mushroom doses. These would have rated higher if they had badges for FDA or GMP. Based on my observations and impressions, this group of mushroom powder supplements earns a 4.0 - 4.25 star rating, with a moderate level recommendation.

Excellent Blend of Mushroom Powders
This 5 pack of various loose, mushroom powders costs $74.95 as of this review. I think that is very comparable to buying the same mushroom powders in capsules, and probably better since you probably get more in the loose powder form than you do in a bottle of capsuled powders. You get a bottle of Chaga, Lion's Mane, Reishi, Turkey Tail and a Spectrum blend of Turkey Tail, Reishi, Agaricus blazei and Maitake. My husband and I have been putting a mixture of powdered mushrooms in our morning coffee for the past couple of years and we both feel that it has helped keep our immune system in tip top condition. We haven't gotten the least bit sick despite all the various bugs going around this winter. These mushroom powders are virtually tasteless and can be mixed with all sorts of things besides coffee. I was especially happy to see that Chaga was included as it is my favorite fungus. It has amazing anti-viral properties and I have been buying it separately for years. This is the finest ground chaga I've seen yet. My other chaga powders are not as finely ground. All these mushroom powders are very finely ground and have no grittiness at all. I think this is a very assortment of mushroom powders.

Good mushrooms but a bit pricey.
I have tried more mushroom supplements than I care to admit and think that this could be a good mushroom combo but I have a few problems with this. First, the price. It is very high for what you're getting. The other issue is that it is extremely expensive and isn't even certified organic. I have no clue how these mushrooms were grown or processed. I don't want to hit them too hard for this since they don't claim to be, but if you aren't organic, the price should be lower in my opinion.Overall, they taste good and I liked my experience but the price really keeps it from being 5 stars as well as the lack of organic peace of mind.
