Efficient and Stow-able
I had no idea there was such a thing! Then while shopping for a portable apartment-sized washer (another revelation) I saw this on Amazon. At first I was going to just buy a washing machine and hang my clothes on the shower curtain rod to air dry, but this turned out to be worth every penny.Installation by myself was simple with the help of a drill, pencil and the included cardboard template, two brackets and four screws. I attached it to the inside of the door to my apartment's walk-in closet, and keep it folded down when not in use. When needed, I just open the door, fold out the unit, plug it in, hang up my laundry, zip up the vinyl bag, and turn it on. It holds about two loads from my little Haier 1 cubic foot capacity washing machine, and dries most items in 90 minutes set on high.Of course, everything dries a bit stiff, but still softer and far faster than air-drying. Fabric softener in the wash really helps, too.Be aware that because theres no exhaust vent going outside like a conventional clothes dryer, warm, humid air emits from the unit as the clothes are drying. This is a big plus in my chilly San Francisco apartment, but maybe not so much in the summer months elsewhere. The noise it makes sounds like a quiet blow-dryer, so for me there's no issue with drying a load before going to bed. And I love the convenience of being able to do laundry in my bathrobe.

Please read. IMPORTANT information.
Got drier. Over door mount not included and no note as to why. Called seller and he gave lame excuse that he was waiting till I got drier before he sent out door mount. Weeks went by before I could use the drier. Door mount finally arrived without instructions to mount. Simi figured it out. Unless your door is overly thick....the mount will allow the drier to sag at a slant. This causes the clothes to slip off the rack/poles that are for pants and such. It doesn't slouch just a little....it's a good 3 inchs or more that it tilts. All seller said was it shouldn't do that. The Worst part of it is that it heats up so much that the plastic sticks to the door permanently, because it heats the paint on the door and adhere to it. Would Never recommend this to anyone........Not worth the Hassel and damage it causes

I do wish there was a better method for wall mounting the unit as it felt ...
This has been a life saveer in my tiny NYC studio apartment. I purchased this along with a portable washing machine and it has saved me money and stress. Prior to getting this unit I was carrying Laundry up and down 5 flights of stairs and down the street 3 blocks and back plus spending $25+ to do the laundry itself. I do wish there was a better method for wall mounting the unit as it felt a bit unstable and the instructions were challenging to decipher but once set up it worked well. I dried everything in it including jeans, sweaters, towels, and even my full size bed blanket. You do have to make sure to space things out in the unit so all sides get the flow of hot air or if you pack it full know it will take 2-3 cycles for everything to be completely dry. I don't regret this purchase at all especially because it was ventless, compact, and I recouped the purchase cost in less than a month by not having to waste time and money at the laundromat.

Could be built better
The wall mounts are terribly designed. The hanger rods are weak and bend down allowing the hangers to slide off. The dryer is fine for light items but jeans take 4 hours. I used PVC to build a stand because after mounting it to the wall it didn't sit flush (leaned down).

It is what it is...
...and what it is not is a full-sized dryer. This is basically the equivalent of hanging clothes on the shower rod and turning the hair dryer on them. It takes 2-3 hours to dry 5 T-shirts, twice as long for 2 pairs of jeans. I've taken to hanging items on a line in my bedroom until they're nearly dry and then finishing them off in this thing. It's perfect if you want to dry a few small items (think baby clothes or underwear) but it doesn't replace a large dryer.

Surprisingly effective
Real space saver. Perfect for small and medium items. Easy to install. Quiet operation, some may not like fumes from drying, if it is installed in the living space.

Takes Forever
Takes at least 4 hours to dry 7 items of clothing.

Like it, except for...
I do like this dryer. Works well, but I'm bummed out that the timer element doesn't work. (should have returned for a working one.) I use an egg timer, instead. But, it is a nice alternative, & we were sick of buying dryers that would break in 5 years. We hang almost everything on a line & drying racks anyway, but this is great, when you want something faster.Follow the instructions carefully when installing the brackets, & be careful when you open the box, not to damage the template, printed on the inside of the box.
