I got this Curt receiver tube to use as a custom mount for my winch bumper. I have a Smittybilt 10,000 # winch mounted to a portable cradle that I use on my Dodge Ram 3500 equipped with front and rear receivers and my Ford Ranger (new winch bumper in pics) plus on my car trailer with a custom winch mount receiver. I had a weld shop weld this to a plate that I could bolt to the existing winch mounting holes in the bumper. They also added some heavy duty gussets to it. The tube is extended a few inches out of the bumper so I can bolt on a hitch anti-wobble device. I also am using a Curt license plate holder that will also have a LED light bar bracket attached. When I need to use the winch, all I will have to do is slide out the license holder then slide in the winch. Now I'll be able to use the same winch for a total of 5 different applications (front and rear on two trucks plus a car trailer). The photos are of the test fit stage. I am having everything powder coated before I post final pictures.

I welded this receiver on the top of my compact tractor loader bucket and it came out really nice. Very well constructed and sturdy. After welding it on, I spray painted it to protect it from rust. Great one piece construction that came unpainted, highly recommend this 2" square receiver.
