I'd go for the Thermarest Sol. The Nemo Switchback doesn't stand up to testing when compared.
Unfortunately I purchased both this and a Thermarest Sol to compare. I've now slept exclusively on first the thermarest Sol for one month solid then planned on sleeping on the Nemo Switchback for one solid month. However, after about two weeks I have swithed back to the thermarest sol. The Sol has maintained its comfort, while the Switchback on the other hand, has lost a great deal of its support and its foam feels like it has compressed. Now both has been on the same bare wooden platform and have not been tested on uneven, rocky ground. However, because the Switchback has become uncomfortable on such a flat surface I would not trust it in such environments.

High hope's, but seriously let down...
I had high hopes going into it, but this pad has already lost its comfort and compressed way too much in only about 1 week. I can already feel the ground and the cold underneath it. It may technically measure as being slightly thicker than its foam competitor, but that doesnt equate to more comfort. The raised dimples are the culprit of that thickness illusion but they flatten at pressure points and soon stop coming back up. Combine that with the fact that all of the dimples are hollow underneath so the actual thickness once they flatten down is near paper thin. I like foam pads so my disappointment isnt from comparing it to inflatables. I dont recommend this to anyone, but especially not side sleepers. I'm a stomach sleeper and it wasn't comfortable, but I know from rolling onto my sides that they would hate it the most...

The most comfortable fold up light weight pad that doesn't bottom out
I haven't used it for real camping yet because of the virus. We cancelled our trip. But I used it on my hard tile floor. And just the Nemo switchback by itself provided support. I first used the Teton universal pad. But I bottomed out on the hard flat floor. But this one alone never bottomed out. And I'm 260lbs. It's very light weight and folds up perfectly. The material seems pretty durable. The foam looks like it will take abuse. The only thing I don't think would take abuse is the seams at each fold.I ultimately will be using the Nemo switch back with the REI co-op self inflating pad. But tbh if you are are a lightweight daily camper then this is perfect enough with a good enough sleeping blanket. I promise the support from the cones will be enough.I honestly just couldn't tell you how long it would last.

Worst nights sleep
I know some people really like this product, and my kids had no issues sleeping on this product but for me the Nemo was the single most uncomfortable thing I have ever put under my body to sleep on. A hard rocky ground was more comfortable than this. Every little point poked at my body no matter what position I was in. I took this on a six day backcountry hike to the Grand canyon and ended up not using it by the second day unless I had another mat between me and that mat. If you have sensitive skin at all or tend to be a little bony and on the skinny side, this map will not protect you from the ground and if anything the mat itself will cause you injury.

Won't fail in backcountry!
Looks like I've come full circle during the past 30 years of backpacking. Have had issues with the inflatable pads--leaking, valves failing, noisy--so I'm back to the foam pads. These new foldable ones are way better that the old roll up ones. I did an AT section hike in early November and was very pleased with the pad's performance. Highly recommended.

2 thumbs up , new take on old design.
This is not a luxurious thick air mattress, it is not meant to be. This is a light weight foam pad . If your familiar with this z rest sol, this is a newer take on the same idea. It's pretty cool and slightly different them what most people have on the trail right now , I like it .

Good. Pongo is better
Excellent for insulation. Extremely lightweight. I slept directly on top of this pad with no under bedding or sleeping bag. Can't say it was the most comfortable, but adequate. However it is plenty long so you'll have padded insulation from head to toe.

Is what it says it is
I used this atop a Therm-a-Rest RidgeRest Classic Foam Camping Sleeping Pad and was comfortable enough for sleeping on the beach at a Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) camping site. Slept in a tent hoisted on the sand. I took my 4mm yoga mat to put on top of those two. Can't say it was comfortable as a bed, but it was comfortable enough for camping.I recommend it for its level of comfort, and because it packs well and is very lightweight. I am happy with the purchase. It seems well made and durable. I am 5'5, 130lbs.

Over priced
Paid $120 for this. It's not worth more than $40. $50 tops.
