Nice rings that hold up well. Use these for making my own lures and maintaining existing lures. The little specialty pliers are WAY easier to use than the needle nose pliers I used in the past.

The tool works as advertised. These things are of course small, as an older person with not-so-good-acuity i struggled getting it in there correctly.I certainly didnt need 200 rings, I'll probably use 10, tops, in my lifetime. Pricepoint was primary reason for buying this particular item.

I purchased this set primarily for the split rings. They are relatively springy and do not deform easily (like a plated brass ring deforms). There are several sizes of rings and they are sorted by size in each compartment. I am putting them on fishing lures and have not tested for rust or corrosion yet.The pliers are adequate. They have cushioned rubber handles and a mid-grip spring wire that forces the jaws open. The spring wire is just slightly too strong, but it may weaken with use. If you have to maintain a grip on the pliers while performing delicate work, over time the spring action may become tiresome.The jaws are adequate as well. While they are not as precise as the Xuron pliers (highly recommended), they will open each size of ring with a little practice on where the jaws meet the split ring gaps.I think this is a decent set, and if I need more split rings I may order them again and repurpose the pliers for some other use.

This is my second time ordering this. I loved the tool so much that my wife wanted one for her waders in Alaska. The rings seem fine too. Good deal!
