So many types of birds enjoy this feeder. I especially get cardinals but even sparrows. I appreciate the little roof because even when it is drizzling the birds come to feed.Also the feed inside stays dry. The seed on the tray gets wet so I carefully remove the seed inside and put it in a bag so I can clean up the wet seed on the tray. Then I clean the inside well and dry it before adding back seed. I only have to do this if we get downpours daily. Otherwise the tray has drainage so the seed doesn’t go bad.The price for this feeder was reasonable so that’s one reason I bought it. I was just going to try out a feeder for entertainment during stay-at-home orders. I never expected it to be so practical and sturdy for that price. And I really didn’t expect birds, but I have been happily surprised! It gets me outdoors on the porch for fresh air and lots of entertainment from the birds.
